CRAICing Travel Adventures! by Sunny JUDDY interior design with VTOS here in Galway and the quirky style sparked my interest. College Director, Declan Ramberg recommended that I visit the city of Bath. There I went to the Bath museum - which originally opened in 1897. The historic surroundings were stunning . I can’t wait for my next adventure !!!
• 6:45pm: A marketing seminar with John Mulry takes place at the Ballybane Enterprise Centre ‘How to make a bundle bundling’. A chance to network and meet other business owners. • 6pm: A world music and food festival takes place in the Bailey Allen Hall, NUIG. • 7pm: A talk on the history of Eyre Square takes place at the Galway City Museum. Adults. • 7:30pm: A talk on the world famous Galway Hooker,’From Workhorse to Racehourse, a slide show presentation tracing the evolution of the Galway Hooker’ by Cóilín Ó hIarnáin takes place at the Hardiman building, NUIG. • 8pm: The Galway University Musical Society (GUMS) presents Cabaret at the Black Box Theatre. • 8pm: Eilish O’Carroll stars in Live Laugh Love at the Town Hall Theatre. The sister of comedian Brendan O’Carroll, she is best known as Winnie McGoogan in Mrs Brown’s Boys. A hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, this show tells of her journey from strict Catholic upbringing, two failed marriages, and coming out as a lesbian at the age of 50. • 8pm: One of Ireland’s most popular band, The Coronas, will gig at the Roisin Dubh on Dominick Street. • 10pm: Plutonic Dust, with Patrick MacAdam (Automation, Synth and Vocoder), Veronica Moran (Vocals and Synth ) Kevin McKnight (Electric Bass and Synth)and Ciaran O’ Shea (electric guitar and percussion) will play at Monroe’s Live tonight. • 10pm: The Widowed Persons Society organise Social Dancing every Thursday night at the Galway Bay Hotel Salthill.

just came back to Galway from a magical long weekend trip to Bristol and Bath in England. I was invited to Bristol by a really good friend of mine : Slovakian singer, dancer, actor and event producer, Zacharias Hubacek , or simply ZACK, who first came to fame with a reality TV talent show called Superstar in Slovakia 10 years ago. He recently played in a show called Walking the Chains - a brand new circus-theatre show, being staged at Brunel’s Passenger Shed at Temple Meads Station, Bristol, about Clifton Suspension Bridge. Zack took me to a very cosy underground club called the Bristol Dub Club. It has a vintage interior design with a Dj theme. There is a massive wall full of old sound systems, walls decorated with vinyl covers, a smoking garden full of paintings. I am currently studying
