About Our HAI TRIEU Factory

Established on April 5th 2006 at Phan Thiet City, Hai Trieu processing manufacturer is our special factory to process and produce yellowfin tuna products. More than 17 years of building, researching and developing, our corporation is proud to produce qualified products to many strict markets in the world and continue to receive trust and companion of clients until now.

OUR MARKETS

USA and Canada currently are our most biggest clients. Products that we serve usually are CO and TS Treated.

South America is a new market to us recent years especially Mexico, Chile and Peru. Vietnam and these countries had agreements in International Trade which has some favors in tariff .

Europe market has premium taste and health-conscious. Europe is in favour of Vitamin Treated and Natural Yellowfin Tuna. Our partners from Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland.

Russia is a big market and in big demand for Frozen Tuna and Tuna Canned. We are serving for Russian, Belarus, etc

Our main ASEAN markets mostly Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand. We also have customers from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan.

Africa is a new market that we received orders recent years, especially South Africa for Main Products.

About The Yellowfin Tuna

Our main catching areas - FAO 51, 57 and 71.

As a highly migratory fish, yellowfin tuna is found in warm seas all over the world except the Mediterranean. Mostly found in the surface layer (≤100 m or 330 ft) of the open ocean above the thermocline, but is capable of diving over 1000 m (3300 ft).

Typically found in water temperatures between 15° – 31° C (59° - 88° F).

Known to make migratory trips to higher latitudes as the temperature of the water increases. Has a sleek torpedo-shaped body for fast movement. Dark blue on the back, which changes from yellow to silver down to the belly.

Dorsal and anal fins are bright yellow giving the fish its name.

Difficult to distinguish from other tuna species except for the elongated, sickle-shaped dorsal and anal fins found on large adults.

Can grow to be 1.8 m (6 feet) long and over 180 kg (400 lbs).
