Rewilding Sussex welcomes you to this publication of ideas, visions and artefacts to help you explore your connection with nature and re-discover what a wilder British countryside could hold. The work presented in these pages is the innovative designs of teams of ecology and design students from the Universities of Brighton and Sussex. They were charged with the task of developing ideas that will help Brighton achieve three important goals:
* Increase biodiversity (the diversity and abundance of living things) in the Brighton and Lewes Downs Biosphere, focusing on the Valley Gardens
* Inspire people to get outside and interact with nature
* Learn about our shared natural heritage
