In what way is the product innovative?

Wini is an innovative ADL tool on many parameters. Firstly, the grip has been developed on a mantra of co-creation and in collaboration with more than 120 arthritis patients and occupational therapists. Secondly, Wini is the product of a new line of thinking within ADL tool design, which provides a greater identification with the tool. Thirdly, Wini’s technology ensures versatility, since the tool is applicable to a multitude of narrow objects. This also reduces the number of necessary ADL tools for the user. Finally, Wini is approved as a medical device. The grip magnifier therefore represents a new generation of ADL tools that places greater demands on user satisfaction, ergonomics, design, usability and hygiene.

Product development

Has there been collaboration with the target groups in the development phase?

Wini is developed in close collaboration with arthritis sufferes as well as OTs. Patients have been the cornerstone in the development and even the concept for the ADL tool stems from patients’ ideas. We have received insights from 120 arthritis sufferes in the development fase.
