In what way is the product innovative?
These are special and unique Trousers made of smooth and comfy certified organic cotton (GOTS & OEKOTEX 100) with plenty of built-in adaptive features, such as:
• Individual zippers on both legs protected on the inside (hidden behind the ruffles for an easier dressing/ undressing or putting on of leg splints)
• Baggy fit and raised waistline at the back (for easier changing of diapers and for users who spend long periods of time on sited positions – wheelchairs)
• Yoke seam at the back (instead of typical center seams to avoid sored skin)
• Soft elastic bands (smooth and highquality elastic bands at waistline and at the ankles)
• Easily removable inside labels (to avoid sored and irritated skin)
• Sensorial organic fabrics (for additional protection of sensitive skin).

Users: children with reduced mobility or physical impairments for ages between 3 and 12 years old.
• Caregivers: family members and health/nursing staff who provide day-to-day care.
In what way does the product support the user’s opportunity for participation and independence?
Through VALE’s products, users are given equal opportunities to dress stylishly and fashionably despite special needs, which increases the user’s sense of well-being and enhances their social skills and self-esteem. Caregivers are offered better functional solutions to simplify daily activities in dressing and undressing situations, thus reducing the need for heavy lifting. This increases caregiver’s productivity, improves the overall working environment and reduces the number of physical work-related injuries.
To which part of the market is the product addressed?
Private users and/or private institutions dealing with children with physical disabilities.
Does the product reach a broad target group?
This product is targeted at all children with disabilities aged between 3 and 12 years old. However, our next collection will also include pants and trousers in adult sizes.
Note target groups:
People with physical disabilities, the elderly population with reduced mobility, and all those with temporarily limited mobility that may have special clothing needs.

Our trousers are designed with a stylish look but also with very useful built-in functional features to improve both the comfort of our users and the dressing/undressing activities of their caregivers or supporting nursing staff. Available in 2 different models made in soft and breathable organic cotton so that our users can go to the doctor, to school, to family gatherings, to social events, ... and wear great looking clothes with great useful features that gives them easy and discreet access to the body, allowing them to feel included in every situation.
