PAINTED FRUSTRATIONS

“Painted Frustrations” is a captivating and thought-provoking photography series within my portfolio, exploring the urgent issue of climate change. In this editorial photo series, I have skillfully captured the essence of frustration and concern surrounding environmental degradation. By presenting the subjects as renaissance paintings, I have juxtaposed the timeless beauty of classical art with the pressing reality of our changing climate. Each photograph tells a unique story, conveying emotions of anguish, helplessness, and resilience. Through expert composition, lighting, and art direction, I have created visually striking images that command attention and evoke a deep sense of reflection.

“Painted Frustrations” serves as a powerful testament to the impact of climate change, encouraging viewers to confront this global challenge and take action to preserve our planet’s future.

Tilling The Earth

“Tilling the Earth” is a captivating documentary photography project that sheds light on the lives and struggles of Filipino farmers. Through intimate and poignant visuals, this series captures the daily realities, challenges, and resilience of these hardworking individuals. From the arduous labor in the fields to the moments of joy and connection within their communities, each photograph tells a compelling story. The same impactful photos have also been skillfully incorporated into my UI/ UX Design Project, “Ang Binhi Project,” creating a seamless integration of visual storytelling and user experience. By intertwining documentary photography with user interface design, “Tilling the Earth” and “Ang Binhi Project” come together to create a holistic portrayal of the lives of Filipino farmers, igniting empathy, raising awareness, and inspiring action towards supporting and uplifting these vital contributors to our society.
