Welcome to The Bluffs RV Resort

Design and development for The Bluffs first began in 2004 as an expansion to Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort. In the early summer of 2006, The Bluffs opened with 250 roomy sites spread over 150 acres overlooking Huckins Pond and Danforth Bay of Ossipee Lake. From private, ‘out of the way’ sites to roomier hillside sites with views, The Bluffs offers options for everyone.

We invite you to take advantage of all Danforth has to offer: In addition to roomy sites, Danforth Bay also has smaller, more intimate sites situated along a winding brook -- perfect for tents and pop-ups. Many campsites are along the half-mile shoreline, or atop rolling hills overlooking Danforth Bay of Ossipee Lake.

Danforth also offers guests the opportunity to stay in an on-site rental trailer or one of ten camping cabins. Three rustic cabins sit on the shore of Danforth Bay and seven deluxe 4-season cabins are located near The Depot and pools.

Located between the Lakes Region and the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the sight-seeing is spectacular and activities are boundless! From week-long festivals and theme weekends such as Murder Mystery, Firefighter Appreciation and Fall RV Show Weekends, to entertainment and holiday celebrations, our calendar has something to offer everyone.

When the weather doesn’t cooperate, our clean, modern facilities provide plenty of indoor space for recreation. Kids can enjoy arcade games, ping-pong, air hockey and wide-open spaces for activities. Adults can relax in our quiet ‘Pascoe Study’, which overlooks the bay. As always, our snack bar, fully-stocked camp store and laundry facilities are open and ready for guests to visit.

When the snow falls, Danforth Bay turns into a fantastic winter retreat. We offer heated four-season cabins with kitchenettes, WiFi, cable hook-ups and private baths. Danforth also offers 110 camping and RV sites with electric, water, sewer hookups including extended cable & WiFi. Three radiant-heated bath houses are available with full shower facilities plus central facilities with family room, large-screen TV & game room/arcade.

No more than two people may be registered per site, one of which must be at least 50 years of age. The Bluffs is intended for couples who no longer have dependent children living at home.

The resort also offers a lap pool for the fitness-minded and a leisure pool for relaxing and socializing. Both pools at The Bluffs (and one at Danforth Bay) offer state-of-the-art chlorine generators which produce natural chlorine. Guests are rewarded with pure, luxurious water that is environmentally-friendly too!

In addition to the clubhouse, tennis, pickle ball and bocce ball courts, swimming pools, and hiking/biking trails, The Bluffs offers fishing, kayaking and canoeing on Huckins Pond. The pond is an undeveloped, natural body of water that leads to Danforth Bay of Ossipee Lake.

Simple and Affordable

The Bluffs offers ‘seasonal’ sites and is intended for use by adults 50+ and their guests. Rates for the season are $3,375 per site and include cable TV, WiFi hotspots and internet access, fitness room, guest fees, and use of canoes & kayaks (metered electric is not included). A typical season at The Bluffs lasts from mid-April through mid-November. On-site storage is available; please call or check www.nhrvresort.com for pricing.

Extended stays of 1 week or longer are available for $45-$50 per day and include electric. All rates also include access to Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort’s amenities and activities program.
