Greetings and a warm welcome to our fourth issue of DANCE MINISTY AWARDS COMMEMORATIVE MAGAZINE!
We couldn’t be more excited to have made it to this point. Please take some time to get to know the layout of our magazine. You will notice that this issue features all of our 2023 Honorees from the “MimeistryAwards Showcase,” "Kids Dance Ministry Awards, and the finale, DMM "Iconique and Legends Awards."
When we set out to create a magazine that would promote liturgical arts, creative Christian artists, and gospel music, one thing we agreed on immediately was to steer away from the glossy advertisements of the too-perfect, product-driven magazines that we all sometimes read.
In the pages of Dance Ministry Awards Commemorative Magazine, you will find a collection of inspirational and instructive articles/biographies writtenby real, honest, down-to-earth folks who work hard to live deliberately for Christ but are not afraid to admit the struggles we sometimes face as artists and christian leaders. Our lives aren’t perfect. We all fall short of God's Glory daily, so we remain faithful, realistic, and honest amid all things. We try to be great examples for our children, disciples, ministries, and especially you, our readers.
We are honored to display the work of many committed artists willing to open their hearts and share their feelings, disappointments, triumphs, and testimonies. You may want to sit and read the whole thing at once, or come back to this issue several times to digest the articles and/or biographies more slowly. These kids, Men and Women of God listed in this issue inspire us all, and I am privileged to call each of them my friend and/or associate. In conclusion, feel free to leave your comments on social media about the biography/articles to share your thoughts or ask the visionary a question at www.facebook.com/Lavivian.Renee.
We appreciate your support and are so happy to have you as a reader of Dance MinistryMagazine, and Dance MinistryAwards Commemorative Magazine.

PROPHETIC PRAISE & GLORY MINISTRIES!
DENVER, COLORADO
PROPHETIC PRAISE & GLORY MINISTRIES!
“Praise ye the Lord!... Praise him with the timbrel andorgans...Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord ( Psalm 150:1,4,6).”
These words resonate through Nekyah’s spirit every day!.
Although God has given Nekyah the gift of praise and worship, she also is a Prophetess, teacher, leader, businesswoman, and intercessor.
She knows that God makes her complete, not what she does! Because of this, she seeks to give God the glory in everything she proposes to do. Nekyah Scott was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on November 22, 1995. She accepted Jesus Christ early in life (age 5), and at that point, God revealedtoher the gifts He gave to her. She willingly accepted the call and has beenin ministry for 14 years! All God wants is a willing vessel! This was when her journey began. She began dancing at the age of five.As she grows and matures, her gift(s) are becoming more refined and perfected. ProphetessNekyahScott founded such a powerful prophetic ministry in 2007at a very young age as a soloist. With the help of the Lord, through this ministry, she has built a mentorship program for ministers and dancers across the globethat she has taken beneath her wings. Nekyah has not only injected technique in those she mentors but encourages godliness and a sold-out life for Christ, not justin word, but exhibiting an example of a godly lifestyle manifested in how she lives her own life. In 2013, God spoke to Nekyah about expanding the vision He gave her to help reach lost souls and extend the gift of worship to all through teaching, mentoring, community outreach, and ministering in the prophetic movement.
Nekyah enthusiastically said yes to the assignment and foundedProphetic Praise and Glory Ministries on March 21, 2015.God gave Prophetess Nekyah a vision to implement community outreach intothe ministry to refine a heart to serve God’s people; therefore,Prophetic Praise and Glory Ministries is heavily involved in mission work and community service. In addition to ministry, ProphetessNekyahScott is an active Director of her department, and Neuropsychologist. Her education and contributions come from passion and dedication to the medical and mental health field. As a frontline worker she strives to provide healthcare to hercommunity in and out of state. Prophetess Nekyah also hosts meetings in the community to formulate and provide mental health assistance and resources to minority groups. On a weekly basis, ProphetessNekyah treats low income, homeless, minorities, andother populations that may not have the funds or insurance to cater to their health.
Nekyah hosts weekly bible studiesat mental health facilities to implement the work of God into the treatments of patients in the community. Nekyah also hosts prophetic movement and dance therapy for children and adult patients within her facility and other patients of all ages who may be suffering from underlying diseases/illnesses.She has mastered the formula of theHoly Spirit and Healthcare in constructing healing hands in the spiritual, emotional, physical, and natural realm. This is only the beginning of what God has in store for Nekyah! Stay tuned and see the manifestation of His favor, glory, anointing, and grace in her life as she willingly obeys God and stays on His straight and narrow path.

Dr. Yvonne accepted Christ when she was 16 and did not join a church until she was 18. Once she joined Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana, IL, she was the secretary for four years. While there, she was on the Soul Winning Action Team (S.W.A.T.), the team that came by her house when she accepted Christ. She sang in the choir as a New Members Course Sunday School Teacher. After some years, Dr. Yvonne started her college journey by attending Hinds Community College in Utica, MS, where she graduated Valedictorian in 1992. She then went to Columbus, MS, for undergraduate school, where she met her husband and married in 1995. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 1999 at Governor’s State University in University Park, IL. Her first Master, in 2001, gave birth to her one and only son (after being told she could not have kids.) She completed her second Master's in education in 2005.
Dr. Yvonne was divorced and moved to the Chicago Heights area. She joined the Union Evangelistic Baptist church, sang in the choir, and taught Bible studies. 2007 Dr. Yvonne began her journey as a Gospel Mime with Expressions of Praise at Union Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Yvonne's first-time mime solo came after the death of her mom.
Seven months later, she would minister in mime at her father’s funeral. Under her leadership, the mime team grew from three to eighteen. Then Dr. Yvonne used her sewing skills by making the team’s first mime robes. Two years later, she left Union.
Dr. Yvonne became a solo mime and founded Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed (D.I.V.A.) Mime Ministry in 2012. She ministered locally until she relocated to Denver, CO, in 2013 after the death of her ex-husband. She would return to the Chicago Area for her birthday to attend her first Mime Conference. Doing this for several years and attending Born 2 Dance in Atlanta for two years, then following God Chaser in North Carolina, I gained knowledge to train those under me. While at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church started with two young men and grew the ministry to eighteen young men and women. God placed it upon her heart to have her own conference. Love Lifted Me was birthed in March 2017, but the first conference was not until the last weekend in February 2018. The turnout was incredible; three souls were saved. I could not have planned a better ending. In May 2018, I joined Miracle Mountain A.M.E., where I again used my gift of mime to minister to the people and be over the Mime Ministry.During that time, she founded D.I.V.A. Designs, LLC, where we design “clothes that express you.” she started making her own lightweight mime garments and then began sewing for others. She was in her first fashion show in August of 2019 as a designer, but God told her to move into just making clothes. So, in Spring 2019, she hosted her debut fashion show in Colorado, displaying her D.I.V.A. Dusters. Featured in the My Colorado Magazine, Denver Voyager, and participated in fashion shows in Denver, Chicago, and New Orleans.
Dr. Yvonne now resides in Missouri City, TX, where she has continued her love for Miming and working with young people. She was ordained to preach the Gospel in October 2020, hosted her debut fashion show in Houston in the Spring of 2021, was confirmed as a Prophet, and was appointed the Lead Pastor of The Love Church Houston in October 2021. She held her 4th Conference, Love Lifted Me – Healing the Hurt Through Prophetic Empowerment, on February 26, 2022, and Launched the Love Church Houston and was Installed as the Lead Pastor.
Dr. Yvonne was also honored as A Lady and Her Mime in 2022. Dr. Yvonne enjoys singing, dancing, teaching, sewing, and serving the community.
