Junior Dance Club Presents
Sunday

All Junior Dance Club from Dance Magic to Prep
It is our hope that our performance today honours the children and joy they can bring, in every way. When students are part of our Junior Dance Club, they experience performance opportunities that are casual and relaxed, designed especially to bring out the best in the children, whilst also respecting their developmental needs.
Once students graduate from our Prep level classes (7 years) they are invited to join The Academy at DanceArts. From this time forward the annual performance is held in a professional theatre and is a full-scale production.
We believe that a positive performance experience has so much value. It instils confidence, sparks joy and nurtures crucial presentation skills, right from their early years. We feel that keeping the day focused on fun and with low [or no] pressure is the best thing we can do.
The love and attention the children receive from you today is an overwhelming form of validation. Years from now they may not remember what they did on stage, but they will certainly remember how they felt when they heard your applause.
We hope to create a truly fun and a memorable family day for you and we thank you for being part of our Community. It is our greatest pleasure to serve you and your family throughout the year, and today.
We believe in the dance studio as a ‘third place’ – a community that serves as an anchor for our students where they can feel safe, nurtured and encouraged. Whether your child is 3, 18 or anywhere in between, our purpose is to be a positive influence in their life. DanceArts provides high quality dance tuition delivered with care and kindness. Through our time together we create opportunities to help your child flourish and thrive as a young person.
PS: Please feel free to stand at the side of the hall or sit at the front when your child is performing. We ask that all audience members respect each other by not standing in the middle aisle or at the front of the room.
To assist in an orderly end to our performance, we will be calling out each costume group at a time to be collected by one parent/guardian. Please wait until your child’s group has been called out. Thank you.
