STUDENT DIRECTOR'S NOTE This wonderful production of Clue is finally on our FACS stage. I can say it has been an honor to be the student director of this cast and crew. Being student director has been a major responsibility, the cast and crew have worked hard and done their part in making this play run smoothly. I am so proud of the cast and how they have shaped their characters to bring the show to life. I hope that as you listen to this story you will be immersed in the thrilling mystery.

The movie Clue, by Jonathan Lynn, came out on December 13, 1985. The movie, based on the board game, was adapted into the play that we perform today.

The play is unique especially because of its ending which ties the whole play together with the main six characters. The pseudonyms for the guests may seem silly, but they correlate to the personalities of each person. That is one of the many details intertwined in this drama. The play is mainly a comedy with dark principles that make the plot interestingly balanced as well.

My intention is for this play to encourage you to be authentic and have integrity. Each guest has a dark secret that they will do anything to keep covered up. However, we each have secrets of our own that we keep hidden away too. The shameful secrets of each guest are revealed, and everyone fights to save their reputation. Many of us today relate to upholding our reputation and making our own characters for everyday life. From secrets big or small, we need to strive to be true to ourselves and follow Christ's example one day at a time.
