The NEIGHBORHOOD Line Y

ou may know us as the local candle everywhere, but that wasn’t always the case. The Neighborhood Line started small: a selection of hand-poured candles, thoughtfully named after hot spots in our hometown.

As the Neighborhood Line spread beyond the neighborhoods we knew best, we realized that we couldn’t grow alone. We had told the story of Charlotte, North Carolina, but there were other stories waiting to be told across the country… stories that only the locals could tell. So we turned to you.

You know what story you want to tell, and we’re here to help you tell it.

By turning creative control over to our retail partners, we were able to reach neighborhoods we never could have reached alone. We were also able to focus on what we do best: creating a quality product, crafted with care.

Today our candles can be found in over 1000 retail locations from coast to coast. We’ve grown beyond our wildest dreams, but the way we introduce ourselves hasn’t changed: we’re Ella B. Candles, and we work with retailers across the country to create personalized candle collections that can be custom-tailored for anywhere.

ust like the colors in the rainbow, scents exist on a spectrum. The Fragrance Wheel illustrates this spectrum by defining the primary notes that we use to classify fragrances into families. From fruity to floral, we can use these primary notes to navigate from one fragrance family to the next the same way warm hues transition to cool on a color wheel.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A

K

nown for its picturesque tree-lined streets and palatial estates, the Myers Park neighborhood epitomized effortless elegance and class -- the same attributes that we wanted to embody in candle form. So, when we poured our very first batch of candles in 2011, we named them after Myers Park.

The name wasn’t just a nod to a cool neighborhood in our hometown; it was our way of elevating a small product into a larger experience.

It was a simple concept, but it clicked. Myers Park candles were flying off the shelves, and soon we were fielding requests for candles named after other neighborhoods around Charlotte -- first Dilworth, then Plaza Midwood and South Park. And just like that, the Neighborhood Line was born.

Today locally-inspired iterations of the Neighborhood Line can be found across the country, and our original Myers Park candle has been reimagined from San Diego to Martha’s Vineyard and beyond.

Our little candle collection has grown into something greater than we ever could have imagined, but we still see each candle’s name as part of a greater experience.

That’s why we want to inspire our retail partners to choose names that will resonate with their customers.

There are lots of ways to get creative with candle names for your collection, but we think the best place to start is at the very beginning: telling the story of home.

Because we territory protect, location matters! To qualify as a wholesale customer, you must have a retail location. Buyer’s shipping address and official website are the only locations authorized for resale.

Moving to a new location, adding a second store, or planning a pop-up shop? Keep us in the loop! Additional sales locations must be pre-approved by Ella B. Candles.

Want to try before you buy? Our Neighborhood Sample Kit includes scented sniffers of all twenty-seven Neighborhood fragrances plus one full-sized boxed candle for you to enjoy. Purchase for $25 plus shipping and handling fees. (Availability subject to territory review).

To become an Ella B. Candles Local retail partner, you must place an opening order consisting of 48 11oz boxed jar candles. We require a minimum of four SKUs to start your collection; selections can be combined from both Local lines (Neighborhood and Well Stated). Testers are recommended but not required.

NO RE-ORDER MINIMUM

S TAY A C T I V E

We don’t want you to wait until your shelves are empty to place a re-order. To help our retail partners stay stocked up, we don’t enforce a minimum on Neighborhood or Well Stated re-orders — so order as needed!

The only exception is products that are sold in case packs, such as boxed votives (sold in cases of 12), travel tins (sold in cases of 6), and diffusers (sold in cases of 4).

To protect the integrity of the competitive benefits we offer our retailers, we must reserve these resources for active retail partners only. Remain active by purchasing a minimum annual volume of $1,000. Are you experiencing a slow-down on candle sales? We’re here to help, so don’t wait to reach out!

We value our products, and we want you to value them, too! We require that all Ella B. Candles products be sold at suggested retail price (SRP) or higher, with the exception of items discounted for special promotions or end-of-season clearance.

PAY M E N T P O L I C Y

All orders are subject to approval by Ella B. Candles. All orders are pre-paid with company check or major credit card. No unauthorized returns will be accepted. Refusal of shipment will incur a 20% restocking fee. Standard turn-around time is 2 weeks from order to shipment. Next day turn-around, when available, is subject to a $50 fee.
