IGNITE

2 TIMOTHY 1:6 " ... FANNING INTO FLAME THE GIFTS OF GOD ...

INTRODUCTION

At Lexington Christian Academy, our mission is to equip and nurture students to fulfill God's calling on their lives through Christ-centered education. Our dynamic co-curricular program, Ignite, for elementary students, is a key effort in realizing this mission. Inspired by 2 Timothy 1:6-7, which encourages us to "fan into flame the gift of God," Ignite aims to help our students discover and develop their unique gifts, talents, and interests. We believe that by providing diverse opportunities, we can support our students in understanding and embracing their God-given potential.

Knowing that God wired each child uniquely, we developed offerings to serve the many interests of our students. Ignite offers a wide range of activities across six categories: Academic Enrichments, Athletic Programs, Extended Care, Fine Arts Programs, Spiritual Life, and Tutoring Programs.

When we developed the program, our goal was to collaborate with leaders from our faculty, family base, and community to share their expertise with our students. Our dedicated Christian role models continue to be committed to investing in God's kingdom and nurturing the next generation of disciples.

Our prayer for this year is that our students will discover new passions, form lasting friendships, build confidence, and feel safe and loved by Jesus and our staff. We also pray that parents find peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for during afterschool hours, trusting our team to foster growth through out-of-the-classroom experiences in both Extended Care and Ignite.

We invite you to explore the Ignite program and join us in our mission to ignite the many gifts, talents, and interests of our young Eagles!
