Development Proposal: Site Sections: QD2 Development Area
The Pacific Gardens mixed-use residential precinct comprises a range of development profiles· and dwelling typologies that have been carefully located and configured so as to provide an appropriate urban scale and amenity to different parts of the development site
• Apartment buildings are complimented by generous provisions of open space including the Green Ribbon (linear reserve area), Central Green.
• Apartment units have been configured to ensure all units benefit from a westerly and/ or easterly aspect. Modulation of unit facades has been configured to afford they are able to benefit from an additional northerly aspect wherever possible.
• Car parking for apartment buildings will be located in basement parking structures to optimise occupantwellbeing benefits relating to open space landscape areas designed to promote community socialisation.
• A single-aspect/ 1-sided apartment building typology has been incorporated adjacent to the SH1 motorway corridor to help mitigate wellbeing effects relating to traffic pollution and noise.
