Charity Shops 25 years on

Long Service Award

It is 25 years since the first Hannahs charity shop was opened in Ivybridge by the late Norah Newberry, who was a long serving and dedicated volunteer. Since then 6 other shops have opened and are now selling a range of goods from clothing to furniture.

We are very grateful to 4 dedicated volunteers who have recently been presented with long service awards. They have all worked in our Ivybridge shop for many years and are part of a wider team of volunteers who keep our charity shops going.

New Developments The Ivybridge shop has recently relocated to a more accessible and spacious site at 35-36 Fore Street and our Charity Shops Manager, Dan Burke, cut the ribbon. The new shop took ÂŁ500 in the first two days. Meanwhile there are plans to open two new shops in St Budeaux and Saltash in early 2014. We are always looking for donations. If you are able to help please contact your local Hannahs shop. For details visit www.discoverhannahs.org/shop www.discoverhannahs.org
