Transportation

From Addison to AT&T Stadium (Arlington)

Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, zTrip / Taxi):

 Uber & Lyft: Generally, the fastest from Addison (about 30-45 miles). Typical one-way estimate can range):

 UberX / Lyft: roughly $35–$70+, depending on surge pricing. Premium rides: higher-$80+ during peak/event times

• Taxi: Similar to rideshare but often more expensive due to flat zone pricing and airport surcharges; expect $60–$90+ one-way.

From Addison to Fair Park (Dallas Fan Festival)

Public Rail:

 Take the DART Silver Line to the Downtown Carrollton Silver Station then transfer to the Green Line toward Fair Park station. Fair Park Station (Green Line) drops you right at the venue, usually the most efficient transit option.

Typical Transit Cost

 DART buses & rail: single ride fare around $3 (local fare; transfer fares available). Fare passes (day passes) may be available for multiple rides.

 Rideshare / Taxi Uber/Lyft: Roughly $30–$60+ one-way (prices fluctuate with demand).

 Taxi: Similar to rideshare on a per-mile basis but sometimes higher due to fees.

From Addison to Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (Dallas)

Public Rail and Bus:

 Take the DART Silver Line to the Downtown Carrollton Silver Station, then transfer to the Green Line until the West End Station • Note: the actual DART Convention Center rail station is under renovation in 2026, so rail boarding is routed through nearby stops with bus connections.

Typical Transit Cost

 $3–$6 for rail or bus one-way within the DART zone.

 Rideshare / Taxi

o Uber / Lyft: $25–$45+ from Addison one-way, depending on time and demand.

o Taxi: Typically, a bit more than rideshare.

Practical Tips

• Download the apps: DART GoPass for transit planning and Uber/Lyft for rides promotes the best real-time pricing. • Budget extra travel time on major event days, especially to the stadium in Arlington (traffic can add substantial delay).
