MEET LORENS

I'm Lorens! It's so nice to meet you!

I’m a passionate curly hair stylist based out of Dallas.

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in DFW, and I fell completely in LOVE with the creativity and bustle of Dallas.

For years, I felt intimidated by my own curls. It was easier to “tame” them with excessive heat styling. Until I discovered my curl confidence post curly cut and have vowed to be the curly stylist that makes curly hair simple, manageable, and fun.

When you join me in the salon, you’ll find that the way we consult about your goals, choose your cut, and finish your style is completely different than anything you’ve ever experienced before.

Instead of having gorgeous hair only on the day you sit in my chair, I’ll set you up for weeks of success between visits with my styling trainings and coaching.

On the weekends, you can find me enjoying the city with my husband. If you have any restaurant or interactive art museum suggestions, bring them to your appointment because I’m all ears (and I’m happy to share my top picks too)! On weeknights, I love to curl up with a charcuterie board, watching documentaries or reality tv with my hubby and our two shorty Jack Russells, Luke and Leia.

Pre-Visit You'll receive a text reminder 32 hours before each visit with an option to confirm or reschedule your visit.

HAIR PREP

Pre-Appointment Hair Prep Bring inspiration! A visual image of what your curly hair goals are will assist me in bringing your curly vision to life. Look for images with the length, shape or styling you like best. Take a look at my own personal *Curly Inspiration Pinterest board here!

Cleansed and detangled. Please come with your hair freshly washed within the 2 days prior to your appointment. Why? I cut curls dry and if the hair is stretched or there are any mats, tangles or knots it could lead to an uneven haircut.

Come Curly! Hair should be in its natural texture with a wash and go style out. If your curls have been straightened or in a protective style we will have to reschedule your appointment.

Let It Hang! Prior to your appointment avoid ponytail/bun styles, headbands, claw clips, or any other style that will pull on your curls.

Come 100% Dry. For the best results come in with your hair fully air dried or diffused so I can get an idea of your current style.

Bring Cash or Card: Though there is a card on file to secure the appointment, a physical/digital card needs to be present at time of checkout unless paying with cash. Please bring exact change as I will not be able to break large bills.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

Parking is located in the lot in front of the IMAGE Studios Building and the Texas Neurology Parking Garage to the right of the building. If you’re having trouble with the GPS type in Eastline Residences since they’re right next door.

When you arrive, please text me at 214.695.4438 with your first and last name OR please come straight into the building to suite 113.

Cancellation Fees: Please give 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of your appointment through your text or email appointment confirmation or text 214695-4438

I’m Running Late!

If you are running late please give text the salon at 214-695-4438 to notify me directly. If you are running behind longer than 15 minutes your appointment may need to be rescheduled to a later date and time.

Satisfaction Guarantee: I strive to provide the highest level of service to all of my clients. If a client is not satisfied with their service, they must inform me immediately and up to 7 days passed their service so that I can address and correct any concerns. .
