Best Parks in Dallas, Texas 75226 Here are my top picks for the best parks in Dallas for an evening stroll. When you think about Dallas, Texas, you probably think about huge skyscrapers. You think about huge buildings so high that they look as if they're lifting up the sky. You might think that the Dallas skyline is completely unique because it's the only skyline that's shaped like a "J" but it's not - there are many other skyline looks in Dallas. The parks in Dallas that I would consider to be the top parks are: Fort Collins, Old Town, South Pres Rx, and Trinity Forest Preserve. Southwestern Dallas is one of my favorite places in Dallas because you can literally walk from one end of posh homes to the other. It's also home to the white rock lake, which is a fantastic spot for any water sport or recreation. If you love frolicking in the water with your friends or family, then you're going to love the white rock lake in southern Dallas.
The top park in Dallas is also in South Dallas at Fair Park. I've always loved Fair Park for lots of reasons. It's huge - you can walk to lots of different locations within it, and even get to see parts of the park that aren't open to the public. For example, the north corner of the park has picnic tables and you can get to them before you even get to the "real" fair. It's a great place to get together with your family or take advantage of the nice weather that we have year round.
