SHURIKEN

SHURIKEN is a custom made set of rims for Porsche 911 owner, as a part of Art of Wheels

Rim Design Challenge '22. The design made it to the top 7 finalists and was produced by Giant Light Technology, Malaysia.

Concept

To design a set of alloy rims for Porsche 911 according to the owner preferences. The design principle of Porsche 911 is “Form Follows Function”. It's luxury sport style, elegant and powerful at the same time.

The rim design matches the flow of the lines on the car, color, style and meets the car owner preferences.

Ideation & Development

SHURIKEN as the name indicates is inspired by the shuriken, the Japanese traditional martial weapon. It has a unique design, it is fast, lightweight, and moves smoothly when thrown. These are key factors to a good rim design in order to enhance the look of the car and improve overall driving experience.
