Manstrom Photography Husband and wife duo Jeremy and Jamie Manstrom have been smitten ever since they met each other six years ago. The owners of Manstrom Photography live in Grand Forks, ND, but they’re about as passionate about traveling for weddings as they are for each other. Capturing their special moments while they’re “working,” this pair could be the definition of doing what you love every day. We chatted with the couple about their careers and their advice on keeping the spark alive.

How did you meet? Jamie: We both play music and we were playing a show together in Fargo.

for a photo school project. I actually didn’t, I was just hoping Jeremy would comment on it. A little creepy, but it worked! Where did you two go to photography school?

Jeremy: We were in different bands. Jamie sings and writes her own stuff and plays guitar, and I played the trombone in a ska band. Turns out we had a bunch of friends in common.

Jamie: First I went to Central Lakes College in Minnesota, and then we both ended up going to the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, MT.

How did you end up dating?

Were you always involved in photography, Jeremy?

Jamie: After we had been hanging out with our mutual friends for a while, I put up on my Facebook that I needed a model

Jeremy: When we met I had just finished up a biology degree and I was applying to medical school. I wasn’t really happy
