ALTON — Bruce MacDougall, a retired police chief and subcontractor affiliated with Municipal Resources, Inc. of Meredith is administering the town’s police department while Chief Ryan Heath is on a leave of absence, the town administrator confirmed on Friday. “This is a personnel matter, we are not able to disclose any details.
