Brazilian real was stronger +0.13% at the close of trading today, trading at 2.1997 reais per dollar. Pakistan rupee was +0.22% stronger at 97.8830. Vietnamese dong was unchanged at 21095. Mexican peso was stronger +0.41% today, when it traded at 12.9963 pesos per dollar by the close of business. Chinese yuan was weaker -0.05%, trading at 6.2000. Argentine peso was stronger +0.01% at 8.0012 pesos per dollar.

Oryza U.S. Rough Rice Recap - Prices Steady After USDA Report Shows Stocks Unchanged Apr 09, 2014

The U.S. cash market held steady today after the USDA WASDE report left their long grain ending stocks projection unchanged from last month. According to the USDA estimate, long grain domestic use increased by 2 million cwts (about 90,719 tons) which was completely offset by decreasing long grain exports by the same amount, leaving the market with an estimated 16.3 million cwts (about 739,356 tons) carryover. As of today, old crop offers could be found as low as $15.55 per cwt fob farm (about $343 per ton) for nearby shipment although most farmers have their sights set on netting $16.11 per cwt fob farm (about $355 per ton) or higher. Bids from larger mills decreased today to around $15.25 per cwt (about $336 per ton) for April-May delivery while bids for exporters were unchanged near $15.40-$15.65 per cwt (about $340-$345 per ton), for the same delivery period, and there are still reports of smaller mills bidding between $16.00-$16.30 per cwt (about $353-$359 per ton) for prompt delivery.
