As we kick off the 2025 Lehi Round-Up, we’re reminded that this celebration isn’t just about the rides, the rodeo or even the concerts — it’s about coming together. For 88 years, the Lehi Round-Up has been a place where neighbors connect, generations gather and community spirit comes alive.
This year’s theme, “Adventure Awaits,” invites us all to step out, show up and rediscover the joy of belonging. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or just moved in, the Round-Up offers something for everyone: thrilling rodeo nights, lively parades, family fun and the chance to make memories that bring us closer together.
We’re especially excited to welcome country music star Drew Baldridge to this year’s Round-Up concert. His heartfelt song “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” touched hearts across the nation and marked his first Top 40 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. It’s sure to be an unforgettable night under the stars.
As we gather this year, we also pause to remember a beloved leader in our community — Ronald
Victor Smith. Mayor Smith, who served as Lehi’s 43rd mayor, was a true advocate for community and a lifelong supporter of the RoundUp. He served as a former rodeo chairman and was honored as the grand marshal in 2023. His legacy of integrity, vision and heart helped shape the Lehi we know and love today. We will miss him dearly, and we dedicate this year’s Round-Up to his memory.
None of this would be possible without the commitment of our volunteers and the Lehi Civic Improvement Association. If you’d like to be part of what makes the RoundUp so special, please reach out to us at 385-201-1000 — we’d love to have you join us.
So shine up your boots and gather your crew. The 2025 Lehi RoundUp is more than an event — it’s a celebration of who we are and all we can be together.
See you there!
Lehi Mayor Mark Johnson
We are deeply honored and grateful to be selected as the Grand Marshals for this year’s Lehi Round-Up. As lifelong residents of this special city, it means the world to us to be part of a tradition that has been central to Lehi’s identity for generations.
Both of us — Keith and Suzanne — were born and raised here in Lehi. We proudly graduated from Lehi High School in 1980. After graduation, Keith served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Scotland Edinburgh Mission while Suzanne attended “The Tech” (now known as Utah Valley Unviersity), earning her associate’s degree in drafting and design.
Upon Keith’s return from his mission in November of 1982, he and Suzanne reconnected their friendship, got engaged in January and were married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 12, 1983. They are the proud parents of five children—Joshua, Heath, Trevor, Amanda and Kiera — and have been blessed with 15 grandchildren.
Keith is a third-generation paint contractor, continuing a family legacy of painting homes and commercial buildings. In 1997, he branched out from Pulham Enterprises to start his own business: Keith Pulham Painting. Together, Keith and Suzanne worked hard to grow their company and support their family. Today, their sons
Joshua and Trevor continue the family tradition by running the business.
Suzanne recently retired at the end of January after working for 19 years as the secretary at Wing Mortuary. She found deep meaning in her role, supporting families through one of life’s most difficult times — the loss of a loved one.
Keith has also served the community and church in many meaningful ways. His service includes work in Scouting and the Young Men’s program, earning the Silver Beaver Award and serving as a high counselor, as a stake Young Men’s president, in multiple bishoprics and as a bishop both in a home ward and in a young single adult ward at Brigham Young University.
He served on the Utah County Livestock Show committee over the Lamb division and also in the Lehi High School Booster Club and was in charge of the Lehi Round-Up Breakfast for over 20 years. Our children were a big part of that tradition, helping set up for the breakfast in Wines Park and even riding four-wheelers through the streets of Lehi to transport stoves and equipment to serve thousands of people.
Suzanne has likewise given
countless hours to the community. She served as both a school PTA president and as the district PTA president over Lehi and Cedar Fort schools. She has been a member of the Lehi Parade Committee, helped build many floats and served in leadership roles in the Primary, Young Women’s and Relief Society organizations. She also served alongside Keith for more than five years at BYU. Currently, she is serving with the Lehi Historical Society and as a senior missionary at the Heber Valley Camp Mission with her husband, Keith.
Being a part of this community for our entire lives has been a blessing. We’ve watched Lehi grow from a small farming town to the thriving city it is today, and, through it all, we’ve loved staying connected to its history, people and spirit. Fun fact: our home is now on the Lehi Parade route, so we always have great seats to watch the celebration go by!
The Lehi Round-Up is a beautiful tradition that captures the heart of this community, and we’re humbled to represent our hometown this year. We want to thank the RoundUp Committee and the wonderful people of Lehi for this honor. We look forward to celebrating with you all!

Many people build successful careers, but few make history — Drew Baldridge is one of them. His song “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” made history as the first self-released single to reach No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/ Mediabase chart for an artist’s debut No. 1 hit. The RIAA GOLD-certified viral sensation has amassed over 1.1 billion streams and impressions across all platforms, becoming the highest-charting self-funded song ever on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Following this success, Baldridge teamed up
with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville/Stoney Creek for his latest single, “Tough People,” which is currently Top 15 and climbing the country radio charts. He was recently named to the CRS New Faces Class of 2025, recognized as an iHeart On the Verge artist and honored as MusicRow’s Independent Artist of the Year.
As a songwriter signed to Sony Music Publishing, Baldridge has penned over 500 songs recorded by artists such as Bailey Zimmerman, LOCASH, and Chase Matthew. He has performed alongside stars like Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Cody Johnson. Later this year, he’ll join Bailey Zimmerman’s New to Country Tour.
When he’s not writing or performing, Baldridge hosts a weekly radio show on LA’s Go Country (KKGO) every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT. For more information, visit drewbaldridgemusic.com.

Lehi City is a vibrant, resilient community dedicated to delivering dependable services, top-tier infrastructure and an exceptional quality of life. As our population grows, so does our commitment to thoughtful planning, innovation and sustainable progress. Lehi continues to be a great place to live, work, and play – thanks to the strong sense of community and the enduring partnerships that support our success.
In 2024, Lehi was ranked among the top 10 small cities in the U.S. to start a business, according to a WalletHub study. This recognition reflects our thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, robust infrastructure and supportive community that make Lehi an ideal environment for businesses big and small.
2024 was a landmark year for Lehi City. From new leadership in the city council and critical infrastructure milestones to memorable community events and park expansions, we made significant strides in enhancing the livability and vitality of our city. Our progress is the result of collaboration between city leaders, residents and valued partners like the Point of the Mountain Chamber.
Among the most exciting developments was the groundbreaking of our new Civic Center — a future hub for innovation and community engagement. On the west side, we celebrated the opening of Fire Station 84, ensuring improved emergency response times and safety
for our rapidly growing population. In addition, the long-awaited 2300 West road project began, promising safer, more efficient mobility in one of Lehi’s busiest corridors.
Connectivity also took a leap forward. Lehi Fiber, launched in 2023 in partnership with Strata, marked its first full year of service and is on track for citywide coverage by the end of summer 2025. With more than 494,000 feet of fiber already installed and a growing take rate, our residents and businesses are benefiting from fast, reliable internet access.
We also continued investing in spaces that enrich our community. Lehi opened four new parks in 2024 — Family Park, Holbrook Park, Salix Park and Shadow Ridge — adding amenities and gathering spaces that enhance quality of life. The Parks and Recreation Department earned the Utah Recreation and Parks Association’s Innovation of the Year Award for our Lehi Ice Rink, which returned this year with themed nights, hockey lessons and expanded space for all to enjoy.
Sustainability remained a guiding principle. In partnership with Draper City and the Traverse Mountain Trails Association, Lehi helped conserve over 900 acres of open space, protecting natural landscapes for future generations.
Community traditions brought us closer than ever. The Lehi Round-Up’s first four-day rodeo was a highlight, drawing record attendance and
joyful celebration under the theme “Once Upon a Time.” Fall brought a new tradition: a concert at Family Park featuring The Bacon Brothers. And, on the solemn side, our 9/11 Day of Service, in collaboration with Lehi Serves, united residents across generations in acts of remembrance and community care.
At the heart of everything we do is a dedication to supporting our local businesses. Lehi City’s economic ecosystem continues to thrive thanks to strong partnerships, including with you, our Chamber members. Together, we are shaping a city where innovation meets tradition, where families and businesses alike find a place to grow.
As we move past the halfway mark of 2025, I remain inspired by the strength, compassion and shared purpose of our community. Thank you for being a part of this journey. With your continued support, I know the best is yet to come.
Lehi Mayor
Mark Johnson
Utah has been ranked #1 for the third consecutive year as the “Best State” by U.S. News and World Report. The state maintains low unemployment rates, with both business and job growth steadily increasing. Migration and birth rates remain robust, contributing to the overall health of the economy. The Federal Reserve has kept interest rates high to continue to temper the United States’ previously overheated economy. While this move aimed to cool housing prices, it could potentially create challenges in obtaining home loans and investment capital, which could lead to business layoffs and higher national unemployment rates.
Utah’s resilience has been evident during past recessions and pandemics, emerging stronger than many other states with notably lower unemployment rates and swifter recovery. Presently, Utah leads the nation in both low unemployment and job growth, with cities like Lehi contributing significantly to this trend. Utah has one of the highest national employment rates at 96.9%. Key industries driving this growth include tech, construction, education, health services, leisure and hospitality services. These industries could face headwinds with potential tariffs and slowing tourism from other countries. Lehi is one of the cities driving job growth. Texas Instruments is currently constructing a new 300-mm semiconductor wafer fabrication plant, which is due to be completed in the next three years. This expansion will
bring the largest capital expenditure by one business in the state’s history, with an expected capital expenditure of $11.5 billion. Upon completion of the new facility, the entire campus will employ 1,500 to 2,000 employees, paying higher-than-average county wages.
Our economy will continue to be strong with this growth. Since 2024, Lehi City’s home market has remained steady, driven by factors like its prime location and strong job market. Tight housing inventory has led to competitive bidding and quick property turnover for new construction, with older homes lagging in the market. Despite occasional fluctuations, Lehi remains a sought-after destination for homebuyers and investors, with continued growth expected.
Lehi is still approving new subdivisions and phases for planned unit developments. Developments include the approved Skye Area Plan with more than 2,700 residential units. Thanksgiving Point is currently updating its area plan to include 2,000 residential units. Traverse Mountain still has 2,000 to 2,500 residential units to be developed. This does not include Cold Spring Ranch, Holbrook Farms or the Geneva developments.
Our responsibility as a government entity is to be a resource and facilitator for the business community. Lehi partnered with the Mountainland Association of Governments to create a Revolving Loan Fund for Lehi businesses. The loan fund is
intended to serve businesses that have been in operation for at least two years, are showing a profit and need working capital to reach the next level. This loan provides an opportunity for businesses that aren’t quite yet bankable to continue to grow. For more information, reach out to the city’s Economic Development Department at 385-201-1000.
We will continue to see new business norms emerge through 2025. I envision our robust economy will continue to grow, creating more jobs and a demand for retail and housing. While the nation is working to repair holes in its economy, all economic indicators for the state of Utah and Lehi show our growth will be healthy and controlled. The key to Lehi City’s success is indeed the secret sauce — placing emphasis on family, values and heritage. Lehi City is definitely “where it’s at.”
Marlin Eldred Lehi City Economic Development Director
From great parks to fun activities and natural recreation, there is always fun to be had in Saratoga Springs during the summer months. Due to its location, Saratoga Springs has many ways to enjoy the outdoors. Access to the Jordan River, Utah Lake and the Lake Mountain range offers a variety of activities to enjoy the natural beauty of Utah.
We’re excited to complete the construction of our new city hall and library, which should be completed in December. When the building is open, we anticipate the city to be approaching 70,000 residents.
Parks and open spaces are an important part of Saratoga Springs. City parks offer many amenities for families to have fun together, including pickleball, sand volleyball, basketball courts, award-winning playgrounds and more. There are two drop-ins along the Jordan River at Inlet Park and the RC park. These are perfect for dropping in a canoe, kayak, paddleboard or other nonmotorized craft.
The Jordan River Trail offers residents the ability to walk, run and bike along the Jordan River and gives access to great fishing spots as well. The Jordan River Trail connects to the Utah Lake Trail near Inlet Park.
The South Marina is a great place for a picnic and to access Utah Lake for both motorized and nonmotorized watercraft. The Saratoga Springs Marina beach is under construction
and should be available later this year. Use the Israel Canyon trailhead to gain access to the Lake Mountain range for hiking, biking and more.
Saratoga Springs Community Events has another great lineup of summer fun this year. Summer Monday Fundays start the first Monday in June. This will be the seventh year the city has hosted this event. The events team has partnered with the Food Truck League once again to provide food trucks at Neptune Park each Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. through Aug. 11. Each week, a different activity will happen by the stage at 7:30 p.m. From animal and hypnotist shows to a bike safety rally and concerts, there is sure to be something of interest for everyone. Say aloha to summer and fall on Aug. 11 with the End of Summer Luau. Come join us for a cultural Polynesian show featuring NOA Polynesia while enjoying great food from the food trucks.
Of course, no summer is complete without attending at least one or two events at Saratoga Splash Days, which is celebrated each year during the second full weekend of June. Splash Days will be held June 11-14 this year. We are excited to host the City of Fun Carnival once again. This fun family-friendly carnival is a resident favorite. See the city website for hours of operation and information on how to purchase discounted wristband vouchers. The events start Wednesday, June 11, with the Splash
Bash. After having to cancel this event for the last few years due to COVID and the drought, we are excited to be able to bring this fun water party back. This event is for kids 12 and under. That night, we will be holding an exclusive teen event for youth 13 and older. Teens are invited to Inlet Park to participate in a chalk war and spikeball.
Of course, no Splash Days is complete without the Car Show, concert, boutique, fireworks show and all of the wonderful activities your family has grown to love. For a full list of Saratoga Splash Days events, including locations and times, go to saratogaspringscity.com/splashdays.
After such a long winter, it will be great to get outside and spend time together as families and neighbors enjoying the beautiful landscape that surrounds our city and attending these fun activities. We are excited to join our residents in celebrating the many things that make Saratoga Springs a great place to live.
Saratoga Springs Mayor Jim Miller
Even in the midst of impacts on the economy, the City of Saratoga Springs is continuing to move forward strongly with commercial development, transportation improvements and residential growth.
Saratoga Springs has been at the forefront of this residential growth year-over-year for the last 23 years, continually ranking as one of the fastest-growing communities in Utah. The city’s current population is nearing 68,000 residents and growing far ahead of prior projections. This continued growth will translate into a 35% population increase over the next five years or 72,000 total residents. At this rate, Saratoga Springs’ population will nearly double in the next 10 years.
As we progress forward, Saratoga Springs is working with commercial developers and brokers to tell our story and demonstrate the unique dynamic of our city and the surrounding region. Our ability to tell this story played a significant role in Home Depot’s opening in Saratoga Springs and the development of the surrounding support retail.
Since the announcement of Costco, demand for retail development continues to be strong. A wide variety of businesses have reached out to the city and local developers about opening new locations in our area. These include everything from additional big-box stores to mid-box stores, fast-casual dining to sit-down restaurants, hotels, family entertainment, dance schools, medical services and more.
Getting to local businesses is now more convenient than ever. Saratoga Springs’s commercial district is home to a new interchange for Utah’s western freeway system, the Mountain View Corridor. The first phase of this multi-faceted intersection connects several municipalities to Interstate 15, Bangerter Highway and Redwood Road. It provides multiple outlets to Salt Lake City and the hub of Silicon Slopes. This interchange is also located next to the future home of two new medical facilities from Utah’s top hospital systems.
In the development of the city, we realized we don’t have a “downtown area.” We are excited to announce that we have completed a Downtown Plan, which can be found on the city’s website. This defines an area of the city that could include a diverse mixed use area we would be proud to call our downtown with all the amenities you would expect to see there.
During the last year, multiple transportation improvements in Saratoga Springs were completed with more underway. Pony Express from Redwood Road to the Jordan River was completed. In addition, Mountain View Boulevard from Crossroads Boulevard to Pony Express will be improved this summer. Both of these projects will provide great relief to east-west congestion as well as north-south traffic through the City of Saratoga Springs.
In addition to these improvements, the Utah Department of Transportation has started on the Mountain View Corridor connection
from Porter Rockwell Boulevard to SR73. This connection is the first phase of a multi-faceted interchange that will provide a whole new means of transportation to alleviate congestion through Saratoga Springs and provide a long-overdue alternate route to the bottleneck on I-15.
So, what does all of this growth mean for economic development in Saratoga Springs? It means more retailers and commercial developers are turning their eyes to Saratoga Springs. It means that we are proactively cultivating an incredible synergy that businesses are expanding and thriving on.
Most importantly, it means that our residents will continue to find great places to work, go out to eat, have fun with their families and enjoy the amazing quality of life in our community.
As we like to say in Saratoga Springs, “Life’s just better here!”

Saratoga Springs
The stress on a family when a child is facing an extended hospital stay can seem insurmountable.
That anxiety was heightened early last year for Rachel Willson when her daughter was born prematurely, leading to months of extensive testing and procedures.
Willson said her daughter, Kaya, was born at 23 weeks in February 2024 and spent eight months in a neonatal intensive care unit at Lehi’s Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital, Larry H. & Gail Miller Family
Campus.
Kaya was among the first newborns to receive care at the hospital’s NICU as the Lehi facility had opened just a week prior.
“She was the first to get a lot of the testing done down there,” Willson said.
The hospital’s newborn and pediatric ICUs are located on the third floor. The 3,200-square-foot Ronald McDonald Family Room is located nearby and provides various accommodations for families needing a place to stay while their children are
being treated.
It includes rooms for individuals seeking a private nap or overnight sleep, laundry facilities, showers, a living room and a fully stocked kitchen with community-supported meals and snacks, among other amenities.
Willson said initially she didn’t know much about what Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area (RMHC) does or the resources it provides.
“But then finding out that it was
literally right across the hall with all these amenities that we could be taking advantage of — I was ecstatic, because I also have a 5-year-old daughter as well,” she said.
Willson, who was residing in southern Utah County at the time, said her 5-year-old, Layla, would come to the hospital with her each day.
“The one thing that was super comforting to me was knowing that if she starts getting a little rambunctious, I can take her over to the Family Room at Ronald McDonald. She can go say hi to her friends there, get a snack (and) can find some toys to play with,” Willson said.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room provided a sense of hope and normalcy for Willson and her family during a difficult time.
“Knowing that I would have a free meal where I didn’t have to just run somewhere and get fast food, that really helped me a lot. I was able to use their sleep rooms multiple times, because there were some times where my daughter needed to have a surgery, and I needed to be right there,” Willson said.
Kaya was discharged from the Lehi Primary Children’s Hospital in October but still requires hospitalization for viruses and sickness due to her chronic lung disease.
The Lehi Ronald McDonald Family Room opened in March 2024 and served roughly 2,000 families by the end of that year. This location expects to provide crucial services to 3,000 families in 2025.
Already this year, the Lehi Ronald
McDonald Family Room has served more than 2,500 daily meals to guests, while their overnight sleep rooms are at 97% occupancy.
“The need is there,” said Ashley Parks, community engagement specialist at the Lehi facility. “Families are so grateful to be able to stay in a real bed, something different than the couch or recliner in their child’s
room – a really comfortable, homelike space.”
RMHC is a nonprofit organization founded over 50 years ago that aims to support and improve the health and well-being of children, its website (rmhcslc.org) notes. Its work relies heavily on financial and in-kind donations as well as community volunteers to assist with nutrition.
The Together at the Table program gives volunteer groups the opportunity to plan, prepare and serve meals to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City or the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms inside Primary Children’s Hospitals in Salt Lake City and Lehi.
“Once you come in and do it for the first time, you’re hooked, because you see the families that come in and how grateful they are for this hot meal that they didn’t have to think about — it was just there waiting for them; and you’re able to interact with those families and just know that you were able to help families in crisis right in your neighborhood,” Parks said.
RMHC receives 15% of its funding through McDonald’s when customers
round up at the register and 85% from private and corporate donations.
The organization is looking to gather additional support in Utah County and has several ways to get involved, including a black-tie benefit at Sundance Mountain Resort in October.
“We know that this area is growing like crazy, and so, unfortunately, that means that there are going to be more and more sick and injured children in this area. That means that we need to expand our support to meet that need. And we’re really hoping for the support of the community to rally around (us) and help us to do that,” Parks said.
As for Willson, she said her daughter Kaya, now 1 year old, continues to experience health challenges but is
making strides.
While their family has since moved to Tremonton, she still travels to Lehi Primary’s Children Hospital for her daughter’s treatments.
Her experience staying in the Lehi Family Room inspired Willson to begin serving as a member of RMHC’s community advisory board.
“I’m just eternally grateful for everything that they do, have done and that they still do for us and for all these amazing families,” she said.
For more information about Lehi’s Ronald McDonald Family Room, visit rmhcslc.org/visit-us/lehi/. For questions about the Together at the Table program, Gathering for Good Benefit, or other ways to get involved, email Ashley Parks at ashleyparks@ rmhslc.org.
For more than four decades, The Refuge Utah has provided services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Established in 1984 as an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence, the organization has evolved into a comprehensive support system for survivors, offering emergency shelter, advocacy, therapy, housing and education across Utah County.
The Refuge Utah provides a wide array of services designed to assist survivors in their journey toward safety and healing. Their 24/7 hotlines for sexual assault and domestic violence provide immediate crisis support and safety planning. Safe housing is available through emergency shelter, transitional housing and temporary rental assistance, giving survivors a secure environment as they work to rebuild their lives. Trained community advocates offer confidential case management, assisting clients with action plans and accessing resources. To support survivors’ mental health, The Refuge provides individual and group therapy that is short term and trauma informed.
In addition, educational support groups are offered in both English and Spanish, helping individuals develop skills and coping strategies. Their prevention education programs also play a critical role, with presentations in schools and workplaces that focus on healthy relationships and providing tools for making all types of relationships healthy and strong.
The demand for The Refuge Utah’s services has surged in recent years. In 2024, the organization provided over
10,000 emergency and transitional housing nights, answered nearly 3,000 hotline calls and provided over 5,000 therapy hours. A total of 248 households avoided homelessness by receiving temporary rental assistance and over 7,200 individuals participated in our educational support and prevention classes. This increase is partly attributed to a 400% rise in referrals from law enforcement following the implementation of a lethality assessment tool in domestic violence cases.
Despite these efforts, The Refuge faces challenges in meeting the growing demand. In 2024 alone, the organization had over 450 requests for shelter that could not be filled due to limited space. To address this, plans are underway to develop a new facility in Orem with the capacity to accommodate up to 138 beds with additional transitional housing and expanded therapy and advocacy services space.
The Refuge Utah’s impact extends beyond its direct services. Community involvement plays a crucial role in sustaining its programs. They participate in a variety of events throughout the area, bringing awareness to the issues and providing information on how to access services.
Additionally, events like the annual Light the Night event pull students from both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University together to raise awareness of sexual assault and help students learn about the services available to them. A candlelight walk held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October serves to honor survivors and educate
the public about the prevalence of domestic violence in the community.
The Refuge Utah continues to be a vital resource for individuals seeking escape from abusive situations. Its comprehensive services, dedicated staff and strong community support network provide survivors with the tools and resources needed to rebuild their lives. As the organization looks to expand its facilities and services, it remains committed to its mission: to empower survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
For more information on how to get involved and support The Refuge Utah or to seek assistance, visit therefugeutah.org or call their 24-hour hotlines: Domestic Violence, 801-377-5500, or Sexual Assault, 801356-2511.
