Deaths Shyanna Masaro
LEBANON, Mo. — Shyanna Lee (Parson) Masaro, 48, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at her home. A Celebration of Life service for Shyanna will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen with relatives and friends invited to attend. She was born Dec. 11, 1963 in Iuka to Jerry and Sue Parson. Masaro She graduated from Burnsville High School in 1981. On Dec. 31, 1981 she married her high school sweetheart, Tony Masaro. They had two daughters, Christy and Brittany Masaro. Shyanna was a beautiful person inside and out. She was generous, caring, supportive and loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her daughters and her partner in life, Tim Yarbrough. Survivors include her daughters, Christy and Brittany Masaro; her life partner, Tim Yarbrough of Lebanon; parents, Jerry and Sue Parson of Burnsville; siblings, Suzzan Plumb and husband Jim of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; Jerome Parson
and wife Karen of Burnsville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. Donations can be sent to the Shyanna Masaro Memorial Fund at a local US Bank or BancorpSouth.
Lola V. Mathis
Funeral services for Lola V. Mathis, 86, are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Mills and Bro. Larry Lovett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Mathis died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her daughter’s residence. She was born September 7, 1926 in Alcorn Co. to the late Bill and Ruth WilMathis lis. She was a member of God’s Church and a housewife. She enjoyed gardening, reading her bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Mathis; her parents; a brother, Howard Willis; two sisters, Annie B. Glidewell and Jewell Martin; and a son-in-
law Dwain Whitehurst. Survived by her daughters, Carolyn M. Whitehurst of Corinth and Debbie (Harold) M. Thomas of Canton; a sister, Beulah (Gary) Lancaster of Memphis, Tn.; grandchildren, Kendle (Nathan) Dean of Canton, Jana (Jonathan) Cagle, Andrea (Anthony) Coleman all of Corinth, Baron (Elizabeth) Thomas of Morgantown, N.C.; great grandchildren, McKenzie and Isabella Coleman, Fairley Lola, Tytus, Caleb Dean, Lillian Thomas; and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers are Reed Mitchell, Keith Settlemires, Joe Caldwell, Mike Coleman, Paul Peterson, Tommy Yeager and Ricky Davis. BOONEVILLE — Funeral services for Betty Sue Bishop Turvaville, 71, were held Thursday at McMillan Funeral Home with burial in Booneville Cemetery. Mrs. Turvaville died Monday, November 5, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident. She was born March 21, 1941 to Jack and Rachel Downs Bishop.
