Screen Printing Process Screen printing is the most versatile printing process among all of the other processes.

The process of screen printing is very crucial as there are many complicated steps are involved in this process. The screen printing process are explained below: The first step in this process is to place a screen on the top of the substrate.

Substrate can be anything like clothes, fabrics, mugs, paper and so on.

After that, on the top of screen, ink is placed and fill the mesh box openings with it properly.

Once the openings are filled completely, the operator begin to life the screen in order to make sure that the screen doesn't have any contact with the substrate.

A squeegee is used to move down the mesh to the substrate. After that it will pushed to the rear of the screen. The result of this is that the ink is placed upon the surface of the substrate.

Screen printing method is best suited for a single color per printing. This is because only one color can be poured in the mesh box.

If you want to use multiple colors, then the process has to be repeated for each color. In this method, it is not possible to merge one shade into another.
