節能減碳統計 Carbon Reduction
在台灣，每年耗用的寶特瓶約 45 億支，若將這些垃圾以燃燒方式處理，將釋放 12.4 萬噸溫室氣體，危害 環境及人類健康。美國環保署為了鼓勵各產業界使用再生原料，協助業界評估各種資源回收取代垃圾掩埋 或是焚燒所能獲得的減碳量與能源節省量，而開發了 Waste Reduction Model (WARM) 軟體。大愛感恩本著 「續物命、造福慧」的理念，每年回收大約 7 千萬支的寶特瓶，將回收寶特瓶經環保製程製作高品質環保紗、 環保布，開發出各式環保紡織品。經由 WARM 計算，將寶特瓶回收再生與經焚燒處理相比，大愛感恩每年相 當於減少 4,438,665 公斤二氧化碳排放，及 1,134,558 公升石油消耗；而經由水足跡盤查寶特瓶回收再製 成酯粒與原生 PET 酯粒的製程相比，則節省了 188,639,295 公升的用水量。大愛感恩期望以寶特瓶回收再 製的終端產品為號召，推動綠色紡織產業發展，共同面對及解決氣候變遷問題。
