Mr. Jesse J. Mora Principal, Associate AIA D3 Studios Int'l Interest in drafting began at the age of 5 year's, having taking note to a shoebox my dad hid away, filled with drafting tools from a night class of drafting that had been cancelled since his return from serving in the U.S. Army. One day my parents had seen me using a compass making circles, sating "Now we know what our son will grow up to become, an Architect". At age 13 year's I attended my first drafting class, it was there I knew this was to become my journey. Throughout my drafting career I've been in the company of great mentor's, Mr. James T. Gonzales, my Drafting College Instructor, and Mr. Robert L. Earl Architect A.I.A. Emeritus, my business colleague, highly experienced in high-end estate’s with such clientele as Mr. Donald Trump & Mr. Rick Hilton, Real Estate Investor’s. Both have willingly contributed their time, effort’s & energy developing & furthering my skills that are much needed in this challenging profession. And yet I can always be found checking out job sites, Architectural Cues, etc., all while broadening my horizons; and to all disciplines that play an important role of our ever developing drafting arena I've had the pleasure of being involved with for over 40+ years. What could you expect from me? This can be summed up in one word, "Driven" all while creating "noteworthy staples" amongst all competitors, thus stated, "No Compromise". ..."We are using Autodesk Land Desktop 3 software. When Jesse came to work with us he had not used this Cad format. He learned the software very quickly. It's apparent that he has a background in drafting. When Jesse has a question he asks to be sure he is doing it correctly and will certainly help others any chance he gets. He is a real "team player" and I am sure he will work hard in any situation. Added Mr. Gonzales my drafting class instructor, placed me in measuring the Glendale Community College Library for a future remodeling project.

Structural Highlights Buildings & High-rises (Under 20 Stories) Assisted in the development of structural construction documents for various buildings & high-rises, including the Tamarac Plaza, which is located in Denver, CO. It utilized key calculating stress programs, including the reference Smoley’s, which was involved in the calculating of various structural members within this particular project, including: Moment Beam Brace Connections, Vulcraft Trusses, Moment Beams, Columns, etc.

Food Plants Assisted in the development of structural construction documents for Quaker Oaks, located in Harrisburg, PA. It utilized key design criteria’s due in part to the plants ever-growing food processing equipment, which involved the modifications & in some cases, a new mezzanine platform for supporting of their new food process equipment.

Mining Assisted in the development of structural construction documents for the Hayden Lake Mine, built for the State of Arizona. It utilized key calculating stress programs, including the reference Smoley’s book, which was involved in the calculating of various structural members within this particular project, including: Misc. Beams & Columns, Ladder Stair Cages, and Stairs.

Oil/Chemical/Power Facilities Assisted in the development of structural construction documents for Chevron/Valero (Contra Costa, CA), Safety Kleen (Minneapolis, MN) & Republic of Benin (Benin, Africa). All utilized key design criteria’s due in part to the companies ever-growing oil, chemical & power plant needs, which involved the modifications & in some cases, new equipment such as an Oil Tie-in Station for supplying oil, a modified chemical clean storage tank to a new power plant w/fuel supply tanks & a fill station.

Processing Plants Assisted in the development of structural construction documents for 3M Company, located in Saint Paul, MN. It utilized key design criteria’s due in part to the plants ever-growing storage tank equipment, which involved the modifications & in some cases, new storage tanks & structural supports, to handle their liquid storage needs.
