What'supPenguins? Letter from Ltg

I hope everyone had a successful finals week and that you all are ready for SUMMER!! It is finally time for relaxation, vacation, and most importantly, service! I am super excited to get to know all of you better as we continue to host service events and socials throughout the summer months.

Thank you to everyone who attended our annual May Banquet and DCM, where we celebrated our outgoing seniors, presented many division and district awards, and said goodbye to our lovely IP Lieutenant Governor Sriya Pillutla. I hope everyone enjoyed eating dinner together, taking photos by the photo booth, writing cards to friends, and playing Soulmate! It was great to see many new and returning faces there, and I hope to see everyone again soon at our next division event. In the meantime, don’t forget to thank Sriya for all her hard work and service to our division over this past year. Sriya, you have done a phenomenal job and we are all so excited to see the amazing things you will accomplish in the future :)

We also have some fun events coming up this summer! Most importantly, Key Club Training Conference (KCTC) will be taking place towards the end of July. KCTC is Region 17’s annual officer and member training conference where you can learn more about Key Club, your roles as an officer, certain recognition programs, and more! It’s also a great opportunity to meet Key Clubber from all over the Bay Area, ranging from the D12E Superheroes to the D34N Aqua Apes. BEE sure to keep your weekends open for the end of July and stay on the lookout for more information regarding KCTC in the coming weeks!

And remember! If you ever have any questions or would just like to get to know me better, feel free to email, text, call, or DM me on Messenger or Instagram. Have an amazing summer, penguins!

Waddling in Service, Carolyn Kao

HelloKey-utePenguins! Letter from DNE

HI!! My name is Adithri Sharma and I'm honored to be your new Division News Editor for this term. I've been part of Key Club since my freshman year of high school (I'm a rising senior now!) and have been on the DLT these past two years. I'm so thrilled to be back and create a memorable last year of Key Club!

HAPPY SUMMER!!! I hope you all had a great end of the school year and that you all are enjoying your summer so far. Good luck to any rising seniors (like me lol) who have college apps to start working on this summer and make sure to give yourself some time to relax!

I'm so excited to meet all of you this term and make so many more Key Club memories! I was DNE in the 21-22 term so I'm so excited to be back to make these newsletters each month, it really is such a pleasure to be able to compile all the AMAZING achievements our division makes. I hope you guys enjoy my newsletters this term, I can't wait to create an amazing term with you all!

And remember! If you ever have any questions or would just like to get to know me better, feel free to email, text, call, or DM me on Messenger or Instagram. Have an amazing summer, penguins!

Waddling in Service, Adithri Sharma

Articles and Visuals Pet Parade

The Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade is a beloved community tradition hosted by the Kiwanis Key Club since 1948! During this event, Key Club members from Homestead and Mountain View supported by passing out badges. This event featured several local organizations and schools, and all community members were encouraged to participate :)

10

Kiwanis Special Games

It was an event of athletic competition for specially abled students. Most of the key club officers as well as a number of members took buses to the event to help out. The club also got the entire Menlo Atherton football team to come. The event lasted several hours and took place during school hours. 11
