Famous for its vibrant nightlife and the golden sandy beaches surrounding the area, the free part of Famagusta/ Ammochostos district is one of the reasons for calling Cyprus a paradise on earth.

Ammochostos, also known as Famagusta, is one of the six provinces of the island. It borders to the northwest with Kyrenia province, to the southwest with Larnaka province and to the west with the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. Nowadays, the estimated population of the non-occupied Famagusta district is around 45.000 citizens.

In the non-occupied area of Ammochostos, there are numerous wonderful beaches and uniquely beautiful coastal zones that each visitors should drop by. The famous town of Ayia Napa is a landmark of the particular district, well-known for its magnificent beaches awarded for their cleanliness as well as the facilities they provide visitors with. Ayia Napa has an international reputation as it attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. Nissi Beach, Cape Greco, Makronisos Beach, the Sea Caves as well as the famous “Ammos tou Kambouri”, are some of the most popular awarded beaches every visitor should call on.
