Actually part of a franchise that’s become Disney’s biggest straight-to-video moneymaker (previous entries include Snow Buddies, Space Buddies and Spooky Buddies), the audience for talking puppies being apparently almost as large as the audience for kittens doing cute things with balls of yarn - speaking of which there’s a cat here too, inevitably bent on world domination. “Why do they always make the cats the bad guys?” asks an unhappy cat-lover in the YouTube comments.
