She and her extended family, including my grandfather, left the east coast of England hoping to create a life that honors the experience and authority of a Free Inner Grace. This is the powerful stuff that caused them to be excommunicated, exiled, slandered and disarmed. In this essay I share how this may be at at the root of white supremacy in U.S. Religious practice.
