Tax and Benefits Professional Trainee The professional trainee will gain experience of dealing with the service’s specialist systems, and the opportunity to assist in the software upgrade and testing process. They would also be involved in the process to assist with internal and external audits.

Democracy Apprentice

Are you interested in democracy, local politics and Council governance? This position is integral to Gwynedd Council’s successful governance. We are looking for a candidate who can converse with people (at all levels, including Advisors), with higher level language skills, interpretive skills, higher level IT ability, as well as organisational and self-management skills.

Experiences will include (but are not limited to): • Understanding how the council works with an opportunity to gain insight into all of the Council’s work

• The opportunity to collaborate with a range of Officers across the Council • Working together across a wide range of areas across the council.

• Administer and organise various formal committees and informal meetings as a point of contact for the meeting there and deal with any queries.

• Record in informal meetings, and in time and with experience, record in formal committees. This will provide an opportunity to develop skills of interpreting and summarising discussions at meetings to form an accurate and easy to understand record.
