LAS VEGAS GOLF CLASSIC

MAY 19-21, 2024

17TH ANNUAL

Dear Friends,

Growing up, Mom and Dad taught us to make life about others. That lesson is so relevant as we come together for the 17th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Las Vegas Golf Classic presented by Sanford Health

As a part of the Coaches vs. Cancer team, you are making life about others. It’s not only dollars that make a difference - your voice and time matter, too.

Even sharing how cancer has affected you can help someone. You may never know the impact you are making, but it’s always worth it.

We anticipate raising over $1.6 million to support the American Cancer Society this year, bringing the 17-year Classic total to nearly $15.5 million. But those aren’t the most important numbers. Since 1991, deaths due to cancer have decreased by 33%. While we are making a real impact and literally saving lives, we have much more work to do. Over two million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the U.S. this year - and over 611,000 will die because of cancer this year. That’s a lot of “others” who need our help.

We lost Dad many years ago to this dreaded disease, but we’re confident he would be proud of Coaches vs. Cancer’s fight to end cancer and serve others. Thank you for being here with us and fighting. We will continue to work to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
