he Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) conKiscated 44 non-duty paid vehicles and contraband goods worth of Rs 98.743 million during Kirst 15 days of May 2016. According to the details, the Peshawar ASO impounded 23 vehicles worth of Rs 33.2 million,

seven vehicles under Section of 157 of the Customs Act, 1969 worth of Rs 9.3 million and impounded another 14 vehicles worth Rs 21.85 million under Section 16. During the said period, the department seized different goods worth Rs 34.393 million. Talking the Customs Today, Deputy Collector Fazal e Samad said that anti-smuggling activity was going on throughout the collectorate with special instruction of Peshawar Customs Collector Qurban Ali Khan.
