I totally agree with what the author is saying in the text. It takes time to get a good product out even though we think some people are deep and wonderful they still have the same struggles that we have when it comes to writing. I like this text because it is realistic it is giving an account of first drafts from common day people and shows how it is even for professional writers have problems with. This point is important because as people we sometimes feel we are not as good or capable of doing something not realizing that the people we look up to have the same problems we do. Another point that I agree with the author on is that you have to start somewhere. Many times as writers we don't know where to start when it comes to writing. Life is full of exciting experiences for us to enjoy. However, these experiences are meant to teach life lessons that should remain with us. In my 17 years of living, I have had many lessons to be learned from events I have gone through. One of those lessons sticks out above the rest and it has a humorous story to go along with it. During my persuasive speech, I used an attention getter with a story to put a face on the problem of the 5–day work week because it is something for the audience to get attached to. In my attention getter, Jeff Campbell suffers from a stroke from working long hours as an accountant. I believe it was effective in showing pathos to the problem of the 5–day work week. My Family History

My world is an exciting and thrillful ride nearly each and every day. When it comes to my life nothing ever appears to be boring. Ignorance Is Bliss Is knowledge always something good to have? In mary Shelley's gothic novel, Frankenstein, knowledge was the source of great pain and suffering for many of the characters included in the story. The novel supported the idea that ignorance is bliss through both Victor Frankenstein and his monster only receiving pain and destruction in their quests for knowledge. Frankenstein and his monster, each with everlasting hate for each other, were more alike than they were aware. To answer this question I will divide the question in three parts. Starting with what values are. Values are an absolut or relative and ethic value of a person. Values can be defined as a wide preference for specific actions.

The assumption of those can be a basic form for ethic handling. A Valuesystem is a set of consistense values and measures. A principale value is a fundamental on which values and measures ofintegrity are based.

Then the last part of this question, moral dilemmas. But what is a Moral dilemma?. A Moral Dilemma is that two well–known cases conflict with eachother. In each case you have moral reasons to do each of the two actions, but it is not possible to do both. This is what you call moral dilemmas.

What is really a common factor for moral dilemmas is, is that it is kind of required to do both actions, in this situation you can choose one of them but you can't do both, so you start feeling that you failed, because both actions are important for you. No matter which one you will choose you always have the feeling that you failed or did something wrong. As children we are taught to always show respect to those around us. We are taught to never say no to an adult, to listen and to use manners to everyone around us. But as we grow older we develop a sense of rebelliousness, and an urge to question every single moral and value we have learned.

So the burning question arises: Should respect be given to everyone no matter what, or is it something that needs to be earned? I believe that respect is a given. Like a natural right, it is born with it, and it is your choice whether you can gain more or lose it. People around the world have been fighting all around the world for equality. Isn't that the same as respect? We have been fighting for respect this whole time, so why should we suddenly discriminate every organism on this planet. Everyone has a side of insecurity and if we keep making people feel ashamed of that, there would be no respect. Respect is what separates me from you, him from her.
