The Bean Tree

Write a composition based on the novel you have studied discussing the basis for and impact of individual choices. What idea does the author develop regarding choices?
Living is about making choices. The choices people make shape their lives for better or worse. Even the decision not to choose has its effects, often not wanted. But the individual who chooses to make positive choices and to act accordingly is more likely to see his or her life reflect his or her beliefs and desires. Usually the individual who chooses to take action is also willing to face the risks and obstacles that such choices involve.
"The Bean Tree," by Barbara Kingsolver, is a warm, funny story about a...show more content... There appears to be no hope of Taylor adopting her without the permission of Turtle's family. Because Taylor loves and can not imagine losing Turtle, she turns to Estevan and Esperanza as her last hope. Feeling that she has no other choice, she asks them to help her by posing as Turtle's parents and signing the adoption papers. Although there isrisk involved for them too, Estevan and Esperanza agree without hesitation to do so. If they get caught, however, Taylor will lose everything she wants. Turtle will be taken away and so will Estevan and Esperanza, since they are in fact illegal immigrants.
Circumstances have forced Taylor to face some difficult decisions, but her upbringing and strength of character help her move forward. Despite some moments of hesitation and self doubt she makes her choices with full knowledge of what she is doing and why. Being neither her real mother or legal guardian, if Taylor gets caught Turtle will certainly be taken away from her and put into the custody of foster parents. But, if she does nothing she will lose Turtle anyway.
In the same way, she agrees to take Esperanza and Estevan to Oklahoma. Before she makes this decision too, she knows there is much risk involved. If she does not help them move on from Arizona they are likely to be deported, and could face death in Guatemala. But she is breaking the law by taking illegal immigrants out of Arizona. Yet herconscience and her heart are involved. She Get more content
Tree Plantation
Tree Plantation
Tree plantation means planting more trees in a planned way. It is very necessary to the environment. Trees are our best friends. They give us oxygen. They also give us shelter, shade, foods, fruits etc. They help our environment in many ways. They prevent soil erosion. They make our land fertile. They save us from droughts, floods, cyclones etc. If there are no trees our country will turn into desert. Different kinds of natural disasters will come. People will suffer from the shortage of food, shade and oxygen. A country should have at least 25% forest lands. But there are no sufficient forest lands in our country. So, necessary steps should be taken to have more trees. People should be conscious about planting more trees....show more content...

TreePlantation
Trees are the most important gift of nature. Since the dawn of civilization, man has a close relationship with trees. Trees help us in maintaining the ecological balance which is essential for the existence of life on earth. They are our best friends. They play an important role in our life and economy.
Trees are useful to us in many ways. We get different kinds of nutritious fruits from trees. Trees produce oxygen and reduce carbon dioxide in the air and thus help us to exist on this earth. Trees give shade and shelter to people, wild life and birds. They make our lands fertile and save the soil from erosion. We get timber from trees. We use timbers in making houses, furniture etc. We also can earn a lot of money by selling fruits and timber. Above all, a tree is a big saving for our future generation.
Bangladesh is mostly a flat and riverine country. Lands of this country are highly suitable for the growth and development of trees. Sea beaches, low–lying unused lands, sides of the highways and roads can be brought under the scheme of tree plantation. Again the hilly areas of Chittagong Hill Tracts and Sylhet can also be brought under the tree plantation programme.
June and July are the most suitable period for planting trees in our country. Both government and private sectors

Importance Of B Tree
B–TREES
B–tree is a tree data structure that keeps data sorted and allows searches, insertions, and deletions in logarithmic amortized time. The main idea of using B–Trees is to reduce the number of disk accesses. It is optimized for systems that read and write large blocks of data
B– trees are:
Balanced – It is a self–balancing data structure, which means that performance can be guaranteed when B–Trees are utilized. Broad –B–Trees are broad and expand horizontally instead of vertically. The height of B–Trees is kept low by putting maximum possible keys in a B–Treenode. Since h is low the total disk accesses for most of the operations are reduced significantly. Dependent on a positive constant integer called MINIMUM, which is...show more content...
Clearly, the running time of B–Tree–Create is O(1), dominated by the time it takes to write the node to disk. Inserting in B–Tree.
Inserting into a B–tree means we have to find a place to put the new key. The general algorithm for inserting a key k into a B–tree T.
B–Tree–Insert (T, k) r = root[T] if n[r] = 2t – 1 then // uh–oh, the root is full, we have to split it s = allocate–node () root[T] = s // new root node leaf[s] = False // will have some children n[s] = 0// for now c1[s] = r // child is the old root node B–Tree–Split–Child (s, 1, r) // r is split
B–Tree–Insert–Nonfull (s, k) // s is clearly not full else B–Tree–Insert–Nonfull Get

Humans depend on plants in numerous ways. One reason we depend on plants is for consumption. Plants have the unique ability of producing their own food through a process called photosynthesis. In this process, plants are able to produce macromolecules such as carbohydrates that cannot be produced in animals or humans. In humans, the only to gain these macromolecules is to consume plant matter, or consume plant–eating animals (herbivores).
When humans consume plants, the carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins that are broken down through two forms of cellular respiration. The two processes of cellular respiration displayed in humans are anaerobic or aerobic. The deciding process used depends on the presence of oxygen. Cellular respiration...show more content...

This means that humans not only need plants for eating, but also need their created oxygen to break the food down efficiently. In humans, cellular respiration also produces heat also needed in the body for thermoregulation, Thermoregulation that is an example of temperature homeostasis in humans, requires heat energy to maintain a relatively constant internal temperature. All the heat energy that is needed for survival would not exist without plants. Water is also a requirement in humans, and is needed for the body to balance fluid through osmoregulation. By consuming plants, the water that they contain will also be transferred to the consumer. An example of this could be in the consumption of coconuts. Coconuts usually contain a good supply of water. The water found in young coconuts contains electrolytes and a pH level similar to human blood. This could be beneficial by providing fast hydration and are normally found in warm tropical climates where hydration is a major concern.
Other then being used for consumption, plants also provide shelter from the environment. Trees provide shade, which creates a cooler temperature that helps prevent dehydration. They also provide fruit and shelter for animals for human consumption. Trees are also cut up into wood for building houses and making tools needed for hunting and protection from predators. Humans have an advantage over animals because of our greater intelligence that permitted the discovery of tools. Without
