CREATE, LEARN AND ENGAGE
At Curve, we offer a range of exciting and engaging cultural opportunities and experiences for creative learning with children, young people, and teachers.
Our aim is to inspire students and young people to become the next generation of storytellers and makers.

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Why not book a workshop for your students? Run by professional artists and practitioners in the industry, the standard cost of an educational workshop at Curve is £200-£250 for half a day and £300-£350 for a full day. These can be tailored to a specific theme, issue or topic from the show, or look at jobs and careers in the theatre, as well as other areas of performing. They can take place at Curve or, upon request, be delivered in-school to suit you and your students’ specific needs or interests.
Don’t let the cost be a barrier, especially if new to Curve. If budgets are limited, we may be able to offer workshops at a lower cost.
Get in touch and share the impact drama, performing arts and theatre can have! learning@curvetheatre.co.uk
THEATRE DAYS
These two-hour learning sessions in our theatres offer your students a very special chance to learn first-hand how a show is created at Curve. Hear from cast and creatives about rehearsal techniques and performance skills and observe a technical demonstration showing how sound, lighting, set and costume create different effects.
Be ready with a question for the Q&A, too! Theatre Day tickets are just £5 per person for educational groups and are usually followed by a matinee performance. See individual shows for tickets.
TEACHERS NETWORK AND CPD
A Teachers Network runs throughout the year to support educators wanting to develop their practice. CPD is available for individuals and departments, taking place in school or at Curve Theatre. Get in touch to discuss how we can support your development journey. To join the network, email learning@curvetheatre.co.uk
