La Fête, literally translating to The Celebration The event marked our first year as Kshitiz and CCIDT merged.

As a precursor to the event, our cupcakes were an instant hit with everyone - with all being sold out within an hour! We spent hours delivering the cupcakes with the sweetest little notes to everyone.

La Fête celebrated creativity with innovative parlour games

Organisational culture is indispensable and upholding it is our responsibility We, thus, inculcate a culture where everyone feels welcome and a part where they feel they make significant contribution to. Our events have helped participants build a better network, express gratitude, and communicate better.

Flagship - Literati, Spanning over 3 days with 3 enticing events, 1 Design Thinking Workshop and the grand online Literature competition.

The workshop, nestled quietly between the sheer curiosity and its applicability to Business cases.

Our events put the contestants out of their comfort zone and made them think on their toes. They ran across the campus, tickled their vocabulary, and debated vehemently.

Everyone has a different career trajectory and goals are deeply personal to everyone. But one sure way is to be a person with multitude of interests and skills to learn from and to have the disposition to learn newer things With Literati, we intend to spark that disposition and put things in better perspective.

Our National Level Literature competition deserves a speical mention. Students from all walks of life came together and sparred their innovation and connected disparate images into a homogenous piece. Such an activity's relevance to businesses needlessly be explained.

An iterative, non-linear methodology called the "Design Thinking" methodology intends to challenge assumptions, rethink difficulties, and better grasp the client and his/her needs. It involves reframing the issue in terms that are human-centric and includes concocting different thoughts and alternative solutions

Photographs are proof that everything was perfect even for a moment.

Our Annual Photography Exhibition and Competition celebrated newer perspectives, the vibrancy of lenses, and much more. 250+ entries spanning three themes showed the enthusiasm and we could not help but organise a magnanimous display at our Annual Photography Exhibition.

Throughout the event, people understood the art of finding different elements and creating homogeneity out of them. Inferring meaning from it would be the next step. Often in business contexts, separate and dichotomous sets of information are presented. Finding the inference is the responsibility of the manager - one that we all

Betrayal

In the midst of chaos, I espied some peace Ignoring the boundaries, I chased that piece

With lust in my heart, I disguised innocent smiles Even after realizing it, she chose to be sane all while

Even though the thought of her ceased my sins I foolishly broke her credence for a greedy win

Chaos

Dwindled in my own forlorn darkness I have detached myself from the swarm uncalming chaos in my mind, I have killed the dreams I dared to see with my expectations

Isolated beginnings are so appealing but unabating through darks nights are harrowing standing at the edge of the cliff, I loathed myself I hoped for courage at the verge of it

I jumped into audacity with a gallantic heart to my surprise, I alighted upon the land of gaiety adoring my every failure, now I am akin to the vibrant chaos within

Fear

Listening to the noises inside, I waited all along, outside the door, too timid to knock My mind narrating its own stories and my heart happily listening to them to get sad

Neither do I fear the roars of wilderness in the jungles nor the hoots of owls on new moon nights I fear plastered smiles wilder than the greens and masked hearts darker than the nights

Self

In the nuances of amazing peculiarities

I am the superstar of my anecdotes, living too long in a comfortable dream that I am now too sluggish to chase

Even at the culmination of my world neither did I abdicate my pillow nor did I adjourn my unrestrained desires.

Living in the mirages of achievement, I armored myself in pride of my vigor forgetting that, in a bout with time even the mightiest histories go calm.

Burying my failures in the luxuries of my luck

I once again choose a new battle in new ground with the new armor funded by the fortunes of rigor and sweat from the love I get

Dark Night

All alone in the darks of night

I was dreaded by its bitter plight. However, my eyes refused to cry because my soul sees it as frailty.

All alone in the darks of night

I am so frightened to fight because my rival stays in the yesterdays, haunting me with howls of grief.

All alone in the darks of night I shredded my feelings because they pushed me into the gales of self doubt and insecurities.

All alone in the darks of night I seek hope to fight myself, because it's not the light I lack but the courage to embrace it

Oceans

What do I believe the loudest lie or the silent truth

What do I follow towards the creamy paths of heaven or to the greasing trails to hell

What do I love the charming fresh springs or the deadly fallen autums

In this chaotic world neither exists the pure truth nor the lie is completely foul

In some other universe of thoughts there might exist pleasure less heavens and naughty hells

And the obvious one every autum is for the raise of new springs

So where do I belong? May be on the puerile islands not so dark nor so dazzled somewhere between autumns and springs too scared to embrace the truth yet awaiting for pleasurous hevens

AUTHORS TRAVERN - POEMs My Journey To Home

I looked at not so white crescent-shaped moon, From the dirty window of my bus

In a long street filled with various cars like ants, Soo organised yet soo foolish to use horns to create a fuss

As the traffic cleared,

The roaring horns lost themselves in the dim night sky Each driver and every ride steered

Releasing a silent screech from their tire

As the cars rush into multi alley expressway

They scatter like dust into a smoke-filled sky

Zooming past over the white stripes along the way

The lane makers were reduced to tire biting road

My Mind paints a picture in this dull dark canvas of night

Using the brush of memory, it starts stroking and shading

About the will, the rush, and the fight

To run away early into these two days of fading

Colours start flooding my poor eyesight

My high-powered spectacles reflect some light

From the one spectacle of red anger on a boss, To bright blue sky of joyful evening.

Among many other events of rains and pains

It tells me about the yellow heat in summers

About the dark grey suits that I wore in winters

And it then rests into this abyss of routine crammer

There was a time once

When traveling had become a home

The bus, the car, and the train

Accompanied by reading, music, and movies on the phone

The journey had ranged from despair to delight

Sometimes lost in sleep and sometimes in the sky

Sometimes the chatty stranger, sometimes the silent music

Sometimes blessed and sometimes ambushed by goodbye

My Journey To Home

The road and bus timing regularized

But I started feeling lost Into the sea of responsibility

Whose weights outweighed even the travel cost

With a tender thought, I wrote this

But my hands have grown rough My throat is turning dry by thirst

Thirst of something stable something less tough

I started aspiring for the warmth of family, At work, A comfort of hot evening tea

At my apartment, A engaging life cycle

As my young mind experiences the lack of being free

The beautiful pursuit to my Paradise

Turn to a pale petal of leaf across another autumn’s I try to crush my pride

Make peace with being away: only to hit bottom

The bottom of being alone

A bottom of being unhealthy

A bottom that I made lower

With my lack of effort.

Flashing back into the night

After a million traveling times

I had expected myself to be a regular

But all I become is an act of sad mime

KARAN MADHYANI BDA-1

I had switched soo many buses, trains, and apartme In search of a home, a happy place

That I had lost my sense

To feel at home

I m about to reach my destination, One of the two.

Being tossed between cities, weather, and advice,

My life became a never-ending journey

Parallel Universe of Your Mind

What do you think is the power of your thoughts? Do you think it has the power to change your life or the lives around you? What if I told you that your thoughts and decisions could make a whole new universe? Parallel Universe.

Yes, your thoughts can make a whole new universe. It can split this universe into two making another universe very similar to our very own universe Quantum particles explain the theory of the parallel universe. When quantum particles split in two let's say A and B from a source, they give a very spooky reaction What happens is, both particles' spin depends on each other and are interlinked. When particle A changes its spin, then others will also change their spin even if they are at opposite ends of the universe. This has been proven theoretically as well as practically and Einstein has called it the spooky action at a distance This phenomenon is called Quantum Entanglement.

Now here things get a little messy. Whenever you try to change the spin of any particle, the entanglement breaks and their spin no longer depends on each other Now, in the universe, everything has a balance, so when the entanglement breaks, we can't say that they are independent of each other, we say that now there is another universe very similar to our own where the particle's spin is dependent on this universe particle This theory is supported by the parallel universe.

Now apply the above to your way of thinking. What if you decided to do something and whenever you had a doubt in your mind of the outcome, a parallel universe creates itself where there are two possibilities, one is where you achieve that and one where you don't.

What if you don't think about the negative outcome? If you don't think about the negative outcome, there will be no universe in this sea of multiverse where there will be a negative outcome It wasn't created because you never gave a chance to think about the idea of a negative outcome. The thought of only a positive outcome will only create a universe where you have achieved that objective The tree of the universe with negative outcomes wasn't even possible because you never planted that seed in your mind.

Try the above and see if it changes your life

There was a man He was successful and had a beautiful home, children, and everything that a man needs for his perfect life.

His wife loved and respected him. He had two sons and a new-born daughter. He loved them and they loved and respected him a lot.

He had friends. He shared drinks with them shared stories with them. He like any other person wanted every materialistic pleasures He worked hard for it and found happiness in those worldly pleasures.

He had experienced almost all emotions but one. He felt incomplete because of it and can’t figure out what it was. How can he experience that one emotion that will make him feel complete

One day he was putting his daughter to sleep who was now 2 5 yrs old She had a rose in her hand. She kissed that rose and gave it to her father.

The man, when took the rose, tears rolled down from his eyes. He was experiencing that one emotion: the love of innocence.

To not let that emotion go and to experience it to its fullest he lay next to his daughter and closed his eyes

When he opened his eyes, he was on a mountain, wearing a Kasaya, felt a frozen tear drop on his cheeks.

He unclenched his fist and found a rose which looked same as the rose given by the man ’ s daughter. The monk was feeling complete.

Now the question is:

Was the man in the monk’s dream?

Was the monk in the man ’ s dream?

Was it the same conscious that governed both bodies?

The other side of the coin.

A little girl was playing with her friends near a tree. Her mother called her, “Vira, come on everyone is here for dinner ” And then she went inside, as she sat beside her father, there arrived a guest. A close friend of her father, they shared pleasantries & everyone sat down for a meal Her father quite proud of raising a daughter every after living in a small village where a girl child is considered no less than a burden started talking to the guest. The guest posed a question,” Sunder, you have set an example by raising Vira with so much care & joy. Everyone is so happy that society is actually changing & sensitization has finally started to find its way into our lives. To this Sunder replied,” It’s just a matter of thought, my daughter Vira is studying on scholarship, she is a genius & hardworking girl We are more than happy to have a daughter like her.” To which Sundar’s elder son replied, “After all she is my sister.” And everyone had a meal with sweet smiles on their faces

When Vira was born, everyone in the family used to taunt Sunder that she will be a burden, they already have a very low income How are they going to arrange money for her marriage, & he proudly used to say, ” she is just like my son & I am not going to treat them any differently.”

Funny! The reality is he actually didn’t treat them differently in various aspects.

Vira once demanded her elder brother to present her a doll on her birthday. As his brother went to ask their father, he simply said, she can play with your toys, after all we are raising her like you only Vira felt bad, but her brother anyhow cheered her up

As she grew up, she turned out to be good in studies & wanted to pursue bachelor’s in Botany but the college was far away. She raised her wish in front of Sunder, “ Dad, I want to pursue Botany in the state college, I have even got full scholarship for the same Can I pursue it?” To this Sunder replied, “The college is far away & it will not be possible for you to reach back home at time. Also, we can’t leave you in hostel. You should study in nearby college, anyways you will be getting married in next 2 years ” This sudden drift in the mindset of her father made Vira extremely sad & disappointed. She tried talking to her mother, brother & uncles but in vain

She was not able to understand what happened to her father as he always told everyone that he wanted her to reach new heights

She asked her brother to confront their father but even he could not bring her desires into reality. After all of this, she got admitted in a local college from where she could reach home by 4 in the evening & started to learn the course in local language & home science leaving her with no choice but to prepare for her national level competition exams to get a job for her own independence.

The other side of the coin.

Soon, everyone started to talk about her marriage & she demanded to let her first complete her education & try to find a job, to which her father replied that she can work after her marriage with her husband’s consent On this, she again tried to put forth her views that she want to live her life on her own & not become dependent on her in-laws.

Again, the whole scenario repeated & soon she was married to a businessman. Bu this time there was a difference. The family she got into actually wanted her to do what she felt happy doing & stood with her while she started preparing for the examinations Soon, came the DDay, & she went to give the exam & felt elated as it went well.

But destiny had other plans for her. In a serious car accident, her husband died. Since he was the only son & there was no one to take care of the family, all the burden came on her shoulders. Soon, she got the information that she had also cleared the exam for the nationallevel job. With this, she had to choose between what to do, as her in-laws suggested her to take up the job as it was her dream for the last decade, but she being a dutiful daughter to her rightful parents decided to stick to her husband’s business & stayed with her in-laws to take care of them

How oxymoronic it is that she never got the love, care & attention her actual parents boasted about, but the ones who didn’t even had any blood relation with her decided to put her first even in the time of distress.

Also, just for reference, Vira’s brother name was Vir (owing to the fact that they wanted to raise her like a boy, yet she was unable to exercise her most crucial rights )
