Being on the LAB gives me a greater understanding of Newtown and how it operates There's far more to it than what goes on in the classroom!
I was nervous at first, but I've had a lot of training that has built my confidence up. I don't work in a school, but I no longer feel like I'm going to be the one that asks silly questions in our meetings
I'm always interested in finding out what happens behind the scenes and how things work and I help the school make plans and improvements with the aim of getting the best outcomes for children
I am really proud to be Chair of CET, which is a fantastic organisation, with such a noble purpose. We are here as volunteers because we are passionate about delivering the best outcomes for children and families and the communities that we serve
