What is Cultoure Magazine?

Cultoure Magazine strives to be a magazine that highlights the beauty of individual styles and cultures. A magazine that makes you feel like you can be fashionable and artistic without having tons of money. A magazine that can guide you to sustainably and affordably elevate your personal style and sense of self. A magazine that is targeted for POC but welcome to everyone. A magazine that can help people reconnect with their culture and individuality. A magazine that questions the typical beauty standard. Cultoure Magazine seeks to steer away from the idea that you need to change or mold who you are to be beautiful. The culture of couture. That is Cultoure Magazine.

Although our main focus will be to discuss and push the boundaries of modern fashion, we will also focus on many other things. We will explore other prominent aspects of culture, promote local POC organizations/businesses, collaborate with other fashion clubs, and discuss things like art, music, social events etc. This magazine seeks to bring all cultures and styles together and create an outlet for all types of cultural and artistic visions.

How will this be executed?

Overall…

This is a magazine that wants to bring light to all the creativity and individuality this POC community has. We want to uplift our community and create a platform thats only goal is show the beauty of culture and art. It’s also a great place to connect with other artists, gain exposure to the art world, and an amazing creative outlet. If you’re interested in a low commitment role, you can just submit artwork, photos, articles, clothes, ideas, etc for anything you’re interested in seeing in the magazine. If you’re willing to do a little more you can come to bi-weekly meetings where we’ll discuss the upcoming issues and spitball ideas. It’s as interactive as you want it to be! There’s a roll for everyone in this magazine.
