Year 1 Design & Technology Day PP1 had a fabulous day on Wednesday, focusing on their DT topic ‘Homes’. The children designed their own houses and worked alongside some Sixth form DT students to make model houses with mini furniture, upholstery and decorations.

Pre-Prep PTA

Violin lessons

We are very grateful for the work the current PTA do. We’d like to encourage more parents to help out even on an occasional basis. For new parents this is a great way of meeting other parents who you wouldn’t otherwise get the opportunity to meet. Please speak to the School Office if you can help.

If your child is interested in learning to play the violin, please speak to their class teacher or contact Mrs Combes scombes@culford.co.uk

After half-term, we change to our Winter school uniform.

Girls: navy pleated skirt, striped long sleeved blouse, navy V-neck striped jumper/cardigan Boys: grey shorts or long trousers, long-sleeved blue shirt, V-neck striped jumper.

Great African Welly Walk All children in Pre-Prep will be taking part in this sponsored walk around Culford Park on Friday 17th October. The money raised will support ‘Farm Africa’ www.farmafrica.org Farm Africa helps African farmers grow themselves out of poverty and end hunger forever. This event is in place of our usual Harvest produce sale.

Please could all sponsorship money be returned by Wednesday 15th October. Thank you
