The "Short" Side of Things 1 FITTED FLAT-FRONT SHORTS IN MULTIPLE COLOURS
If you’re only going to buy one item on this list, it’s the fitted flat-front shorts. Showing an inch or two of leg above your kneecap creates a more put-together, intentional look. If worn correctly, it won’t look too tight or too short.
SLIM-FIT CHINOS You may hear chinos and think dress pants but once properly fitted, they can be worn casually to create a clean and modern silhouette. Paired with a henley and canvas sneakers, the look remains completely casual while keeping you cool on warmer days. If the leg opening is too wide, it's too big for you. This simple detail can kill the whole look so try a different fit.

Statement Shoes PENNY LOAFERS The penny loafer is a classic go-to that nails a cool and conservative look at any shindig! They can be worn with or without socks and go with almost anything
BOAT SHOES Boat shoes are the single most important piece of footwear for summer style. Wear casually with a T-shirt or dress it up with slimfit chinos and a button-up. They’re perfectly acceptable to wear in most business casual settings, and definitely my go-to for any summer date. WEAR THEM WITHOUT SOCKS, PLEASE.
Sharp Shades Sport shades by the likes of Oakley et al have a superior place when performance is a concern. But for a brunch date or summer work function, endurance should take a back seat to form. “Dress” sunglasses come in two primary forms – Aviator, or the Wayfarer/Clubmaster.
