6 We are a Christian school that fully embraces the Anglican ethos inherited by the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, which forms the basis of the curriculum design and implementation for the nurture of the next generation. We provide holistic education for our students by taking the Christian value as an essential element in the entire school curriculum. For this reason, students are required to attend all lessons, school events and educational activities provided by our schools.

It is the vision of the school to provide Equal Opportunities for Quality Christian Education with altruism, compassion and grace. The school’s mission is to provide our students with a Christian education that develops the whole person in the following areas: moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual; to instil in our girls a spirit of public service, and to build a firm foundation in both Chinese and English. All teachers have the mission to provide pastoral care to our students. Students can approach any of the teachers when they are in need. In particular, their class teachers, mentors and CCA teachers, as they have many opportunities to interact with their students, can give assistance to students most readily. If students have Christian beliefs, they can also approach the fellowship teachers and sisters for guidance. For those students who may need more attention and better support, the counselling teachers, the school social workers and/or the educational and clinical psychologists can provide further assistance. Apart from teachers, the higher form students or the big sisters are also approachable to help the newcomers better adapt to the new learning environment. Social Worker

Career Guidance For the Form One Careers lessons, the Careers Team seeks to introduce careers profiling and personality types to students. Through lively and interactive lessons, we introduce students to occupational themes like the Holland code, encouraging them to reflect upon their own aptitudes, preferences and personal characteristics, while providing a conceptual framework for them to imagine their future career exploration. This exploration continues in the junior forms with talks given by industry professionals and guidance given by careers teachers and senior form students to enable students to make senior subject choices based on informed decisions aligned with their career aspirations. In the senior form programme, students progress onto more varied and deeper careers engagements like encounters with workplaces and tertiary educational institutions.

Mentorship
Each student will be partnered with a teacher-mentor, who will provide developmental guidance in personal growth, moral character building, social skills, time management skills and careers counselling, etc.
