Task 3 part 5 review client consultation unit 27 Lara Young

Photography consultation Firstly I presented the client London Tourist Board 8 photographs I took while in London. The photos I have presented to them was the bright and colourful photo with the girl standing in front of the heart, one in a skater park with the boy on his skate board, another image in a skate park but a boy on the park, three boys taking a photo on a bridge, a group of young people walking through London laughing and smiling, one of London skyline, one of a close up of the London eye, one in a fish market.

I consulted with the client and they liked the girl in front of the heart. The reason they liked this is because it’s bright, colourful and reflects the target audience. The other photo the client liked was they boy on the bike, the reason the client liked this image because again it was colourful and reflected spontaneity. Another image the client choice was the boys on the bridge taking photos because it reflects the target audience and shows diversity. The final photo they liked was the skyline photo because it was bright and colourful. With this information I then proceed to make a draft.

Draft photo consultation

Task 3 part 5 review client consultation unit 27 Lara Young Then I showed them a draft of the posters. The fist poster I showed them was the girl in front of the heart which they felt met the brief with the use of bold colours and use of the camera props. It also has a young alternative teen which will help make the poster reflect the target audience. The client liked it because it made London look exciting due to the colours

The next poster I showed to the client was the boys on the bridge again they approved of the image due to the use of camera which reflect the photography campaign, the view of London in the background and the use of the use of the edgy boys.

The I presented the one of the boy on the bike the feedback I got from the board was it was not exciting enough because we was just sitting on his bike so then I changed it to the one on the skate board which they approved of because it was spontaneous and colourful and fit the brief perfectly.

Then I presented the client with the skyline poster which they reject because they felt it had nothing to do with the brief and again was quite boring. Then I presented to the client the poster with the young group of people in London. The reason I chose to use this image instead was it filled the brief

Task 3 part 5 review client consultation unit 27 Lara Young because it has young alternative, edgy teens and show a sense of adventure due to the fact the group of teens are laughing and smiling. This helped make the image more interesting and exciting.
