In Service to the Dear Neighbor Christ the King Collects Supplies and Goods for Ukrainian Refugees Originally led by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Christ the King Catholic School is committed to the principle of “service to the dear neighbor.” As our community watched in shock and sadness earlier this year as the country of Ukraine was brazenly attacked, school families and parishioners felt called to help.

To support our neighbors in Ukraine and the surrounding areas, CTK mobilized to provide humanitarian aid to the war victims and refugees by partnering with the local nonprofit organization White Pony Express.
A Closer Look: Celebrating Mardi Gras Through the Years Mardi Gras, French for “Fat Tuesday,” has been celebrated at CTK since Mrs. Camille Sihler’s first year teaching at the school in 1980... F U L L S T O RY P G 3
Culminating with a service event on Holy Thursday (April 14), volunteers collected hundreds of supplies and goods to be shipped to trusted organizations serving the millions of refugees that have fled Ukraine. Items included over-the-counter medicine, first aid supplies, health and sanitary products, and more. Thank you to the families and individuals who gave so generously.
