Before attending The Big Bike Revival, I never felt comfortable riding a bike even on a 5-minute journey. Joining the men’s cycling group however, I feel more confident and even know how to get to the city centre. Cycling has helped me explore the local area and build my independence.

I couldn’t afford to get my bike fixed, I was really stuck and also put on weight because I wasn’t using it. This was great, a free basic repair and check service. Now I’ll probably smoke less as well as you can’t roll a ciggie on a bike!
