PRINCIPAL

Tonight, is a very special night for our Troupe. We have worked hard over the last few months not only learning our Individual Events but also our full length feature play Willy Wonka, Kids.

The students have mastered the ability to juggle their class work, outside of school commitments with several theatrical songs, choreography, lines, and blocking. These kids became well rounded competitors who shine both on and off the stage.

I am excited to share their state selected and superior competition pieces with all of you. We do not usually get the opportunity to perform our competition events in front of an audience, so this is a rare treat for the competitors.

We cannot wait to hear the roar of audience applause tonight.

She enjoys being a part of both the CSMS Drama club and the CSMS Band. She is excited to take a step from behind the tech booth and onto the stage to perform Willy Wonka the Musical

Performer) Kaleb Arroyo- Kaleb is an 8th grader who has been doing theatre for a couple of years so he’s been in a couple of performances before. He’s excited for tonight’s performances and hopes you enjoy watching all the performances for tonight.

Although she has never performed in a large group musical, or any musicals before, she always dreamed of being an actor. “I saw my cousins in musicals multiple times before, and have been inspired by their performances. Now I have accomplished being a play and acting on stage.”

Kel does a lot of props and wigs as a hobby and is more than ecstatic to be able to be preforming in the Willy Wonka musical. Excellent Ranking- One Act ) Sam Lapsley is performing in his final drama showcase of his middle school career tonight. He has been a part of CSMS drama all three years and even participated during elementary school in Cinderella, Shrek, and The Lion King. Sam has competed in all district and state Jr. Thespian competitions as well. Sam also participates in CSMS band. He would like to thank Ms. Thomas and Ms. Cusano for their support and guidance through the years.

She has been doing singing, acting, theater for a very long time and is extremely exited to be preforming tonight. I would like to thank my family especially my mom, Mrs. Thomas, and my friends who have helped me especially Bri, Hannah, and Kel.
