SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — While time travel is still on the list of things for technology to conquer, many other pathways into the future were shown during a technology expo at the Schriever Air Force Base Fitness Center, Colorado, March 20. More than 30 civilian vendors hailing from space, cyberspace and administrative
disciplines were present during the 22nd Space Operations Squadron-hosted event, and served as an open forum for industry partners to showcase their latest missioncentric technologies. The 22nd SOPS partnered with National Conference Services Incorporated, which organized the vendors. “The event went well,” said Elizabeth Teune, event manager with NCSI. “We had around 150 attendees. We heard positive
feedback from both the exhibitors and the attendees. Everyone enjoys the giveaways, food and networking opportunities at the Tech Expo.” Staff Sgt. Arleen Deitchman, intelligence analyst with the 310th Operations Support Squadron, had the opportunity to attend the event. “It’s very important we have events like See Tech Expo page 7

SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — The 50th Space Wing Public Affairs office is implementing a survey-based feedback card designed to collect data about the office’s website, newspaper and social media platforms. The surveys will be available to fill out for a month. Steve Kotecki, command information chief with the 50th Space Wing Public Affairs office, explained it is part of Air Force Instruction to conduct annual surveys. “In today’s changing environment we’re trying to figure out how to best put out news and information so people can receive it in the best way possible,” he said. “The surveys will hopefully help public affairs create better products for our audiences.” The short survey cards will be available to fill out in areas of high foot traffic like the dining facility and fitness center, as well as the Building 210 atrium. “Public Affairs controls the various strategic communication platforms for the 50th Space See Feedback page 10
