Spectacolul „O sută de toasturi” este o sărbătoare. Toastăm pentru persoane remarcabile, evenimente sau fenomenele naturale care au avut un impact semnificativ asupra omenirii și istoriei. Unora le-am spune „mulțumesc”, altora „du-te dracului”, în ambele cazuri, cu o plăcere nemărginită. Și în același timp, vom toasta pentru noi toți. Pentru cei care încă cred în viitor și pentru cei care au renunțat la politică, artă, filosofie și religie. Pentru toți cei care sunt alături de noi și pentru cei împotriva noastră. Pentru toți cei care ne-au luat-o în față și pentru cei care ne urmează. Pentru cei din stânga, din dreapta și cei înțepeniți la mijloc. Pentru toți cei care ne ridică în slăvi și pentru cei care nu ne mai suportă. Vom ridica paharul și pentru cei care ne-au adus aici, împreună. Vom toasta pentru artiștii de azi, pentru artiștii decedați și pentru cei care vor să devină artiști. Un toast pentru publicul care îndură cu răbdare experimentele noastre artistice și pentru toți protectorii normalității care-și întorc capul cu dispreț. Noroc, Timișoara! Noroc, TESZT!

The performance “Hundred Toasts” is a celebration. We toast remarkable people, events or natural phenomena that have had a significant impact on people and history. To some we will say “thank you”, to others “fuck you”, in both cases it will be a great pleasure. At the same time, we will toast to all of us. To those who still believe in the future and to those who have long since given up on politics, art, philosophy and religion. To all those who are with us and against us. To all those who are in front of us and behind us. To all those on the left and right and those stuck in the middle. To all those who will always praise us and to those who can no longer stand us. We will also raise a toast to those who brought us together. We will toast the existing artists, the deceased artists and all those who want to become artists. We toast the audience that patiently endures our artistic experiments and all the guardians of normality who turn away with contempt. Cheers Timișoara! Cheers TESZT!

A hetvenes évek Romániáját idéző előadás a színészek és a rendező személyes történeteire épülő, generációkon átívelő dokumentum-fikció. A kommunista Románia egyik „blokklakásának” történeteit helyi és globális jellegű események szövik át, összekapcsolva Temesvárt és a szlovéniai Nova Goricát, a két várost, amely egykor az Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia részét képezte, az első világháború idején pedig magyar katonák ezrei harcoltak és haltak meg az olaszszlovén határhoz közeli isonzói fronton.

Az 1978 egy 12 előadásból álló, Destin(y)ation címet viselő sorozat része, amelyet 2025-ben, a Nova Gorica/Gorizia Európa Kulturális Fővárosa program keretében mutatnak be. Az előadás a rendező szülővárosához kötődő emlékekből kiindulva több olyan témát dolgoz fel, amely a gyermekkorhoz, a transzgenerációs kérdésekhez, a határokhoz, a társadalmi-politikai változásokhoz, a háború témaköréhez kötődik. Az 1978 c. előadást az UNITER - Román Színházi Szövetség 2023 legjobb előadása, látványvilágát pedig az év legjobb díszlete kategóriában díjra jelölte.

Spectacolul „1978” vorbește despre România anilor 1970, o docu-ficțiune transgenerațională bazată pe poveștile personale ale actorilor și regizorului.

Este o poveste despre anii comunismului într-un apartament din România, o poveste despre evenimente locale și globale care fac legătura dintre Timișoara și Nova Gorica (Slovenia) - la granița cu Italia - orașe care au fost parte din aceeași țară - Imperiul Austro-Ungar. În urmă cu mai mult de 100 de ani, sute de soldați maghiari au luptat pe frontul Isonzo.

„1978” face parte dintr-o dodecalogie (12 spectacole) numită Destin(y)ation, care va reuni teatre din mai multe țări pentru un proiect creat special pentru Capitala Europeană a Culturii 2025 Nova Gorica/Gorizia (Slovenia/Italy). Dodecalogia pornește din spațiul copilăriei regizorului (si relația acelui oraș cu altele) și vorbește despre transgeneraționalitate, granițe, modificări socio-politico-ideologice, război etc.

„1978” a fost nominalizat de Uniunea Teatrală Română pentru Cel mai bun spectacol și Cea mai bună scenografie de teatru din 2023.

Theatre performance “1978” is about Romania in the 70s, a trans-generational documentary fiction based on actors’ and director’s personal stories. It is a story about communist times, which grows out of a Romanian apartment, a story related to many local and global events that connect the regions of Timisoara and Nova Gorica (Slovenia) - on the border with Italy - cities that were both part of the same country once upon a time: the Austro-Hungarian empire. More then hundred years ago dozens of thousands of Hungarian soldiers fought at Isonzo front.

“1978” is part of theatre dodecalogy (twelve performances) Destin(y)ation, that involve(s) theatres from several countries for the European Capital of Culture 2025 in Janežič’s home city Nova Gorica/Gorizia (Slovenia/Italy) and addresses topics of the transgenerationality, border, socio-politicalideological changes, war, etc.

”1978” was nominated by the Romanian Theatre Union for Best Theatre Performance and Best Set Design in 2023.

A makrancos hölgy egy olyan eredeti projekt, amely különböző diskurzusokat, stílusokat és műfajokat ötvözve próbál párbeszédet folytatni a drámai kánonnal és a hozzá valóviszonyunkkal. Shakespeare szerzői pozícióját lehetetlen vizsgálni anélkül, hogy figyelembe vennénk a korabeli közönség helyzetét, azt a társadalmi kontextust, amelyben maga Shakespeare élt és dolgozott. Az írót az engedetlen, fékezhetetlen nőkről szóló népmesék ihlették, az előadásban pedig feltárul a nők elhalgattatására, nyelvük megzabolázására tett kísérletek hosszú története: miként vált a női tér a rémület és a kínzás, a büntetés és a figyelmeztetés terévé a társadalom többi tagja számára, ha nem igazodtak a patriarchális struktúrához. Az alkotók megvizsgálták, mi rejtőzhet a látszólag lényegtelen részletek hátterében, mi húzódik meg a nevetésre késztető szituációk mögött, milyen humoros sémák honosodtak meg és miért, ezek közül melyek népszerűek ma, és mindez mit árul el az általunk elfogadottá vált társadalmi mintákról; és végül, mi a személyes felelősségünk mindebben.

„Îmblânzirea scorpei” este un proiect original, care combină stiluri și genuri diverse pentru o conversație deschisă cu canonul dramatic și cu perspectiva noastră contemporană asupra acestuia. O multitudine de interpretări teoretice și analize critice, adesea contradictorii, duc la necesitatea unei reevaluări a lui Shakespeare și a operei sale, fără a reduce acest studiu la critică sau apărare. Majoritatea comentatorilor sunt de acord că înțelegerea poziției sale ca autor necesită luarea în considerare a publicului și a contextului social în care Shakespeare însuși a trăit și a lucrat.

În cursul procesului nostru artistic, am încercat să explorăm toate aceste perspective, să analizăm fiecare segment al piesei comentând, intervenind, confruntându-ne și căutând contradicții, creând astfel noi spații pentru intertextualitate și metode metateatrale. Principiul nostru călăuzitor a fost să luăm întotdeauna în considerare ce se ascunde în spatele unor detalii aparent irelevante, a situațiilor de care râdem, ce tipare comice s-au stabilit și de ce, ce putem afla din tiparele sociale normalizate în prezent și, în sfârșit, care este responsabilitatea noastră personală în toate acestea.

“The Taming of the Shrew” is an original project, blending diverse styles and genres to converse with the dramatic canon and our contemporary perspective of it. A multitude of theoretical interpretations and critical analyses, often contradictory, result in the need of a reevaluation of Shakespeare and his work without merely critiquing or defending it. Most commentators concur that understanding his position as an author requires considering the audiences and social context in which Shakespeare himself lived and worked.

During our artistic process, we tried to explore all these layers, analyze every segment of the play by commenting, intervening, confronting, and searching for contradictions, and thereby creating new spaces for intertextuality and meta-theatrical methods. Our guiding principle was to always consider what is hidden in the background of seemingly irrelevant details, what is behind the situations we laugh at, which comedic patterns have become established and why, what that can tell us about the social patterns presently normalized; and, finally, what is our personal responsibility in all this.

Tirana egyik külvárosában egy vendéglő reklámtáblájának neonfénye egy család történetét világítja meg. A cégér fénye mellett bekövetkező váratlan esemény döntő hatással van Mario életére. Évekkel később, már felnőttként, Mario Banushi rendező, aki éveken át utazott Görögországból Albániába, hogy láthassa a családját, és hogy visszatérhessen a családi vendéglőbe, most ugyanezt a táblát Tiranából Athénba viszi, és a színpadon megteremtett világ középpontjába helyezi. Előadásában saját emlékeit és nosztalgiáját osztja meg a közönséggel, tudatosítva nemrég elhunyt édesapja hiányát, aki a taverna egykori szakácsaként és tulajdonosaként estéről estére fogadta a vendégeket. Az előadás folyamán a fénytábla érzelmek egész sorát tárja elénk, az elhallgatott érzések, emléktöredékek dalát, a kimondatlanul maradt dolgok költészetét. A tábla megtestesíti az apjától, a kocsma titkainak őrzőjétől való mély búcsút, és – az évek múlásával járó egzisztenciális rejtélyek közepette – a felnőttkor meleg ölelését.

O placă luminoasă a unui restaurant într-o suburbie a Tiranei își aruncă lumina asupra istoriei unei familii. Un incident neașteptat sub lumina acestui semn are un efect crucial asupra vieții micului Mario. Ani mai târziu, ca adult, regizorul Mario Banushi, care călătorise ani de zile pe ruta Grecia - Albania pentru a-și revedea familia în tavernă, poartă acum cu el aceeași placă de la Tirana la Atena, plasând-o în centrul lumii pe care o creează pe scenă. În spectacolul său, el își aduce în fața spectatorilor amintirile și nostalgia, confruntându-se cu absența tatălui trecut recent în neființă, fostul bucătar și proprietar al tavernei care își primea clienții în fiecare seară. Pe măsură ce spectacolul se desfășoară, placa luminoasă dezvăluie o serie de emoții, un cântec de sentimente nerostite, fragmente și amintiri, poezia lucrurilor rămase nespuse. Aceasta întruchipează un profund rămas bun de la tatăl său, custodele secretelor tavernei, și o îmbrățișare caldă a maturității, în inima unor ghicitori existențiale care însoțesc trecerea anilor.

A neon restaurant sign in a Tirana suburb sheds light to the history of a family. An unexpected incident under the light of this sign has a crucial effect on Mario’s life. Years later, now an adult, director Mario Banushi, who had been traveling from Greece to Albania for years to meet his family and return to the family taverna, now carries that same sign from Tirana to Athens, placing it at the center of the world he creates on stage. Through a performance, he welcomes his memories and nostalgia in order to confront the absence of his father who recently passed away; the cook and taverna owner who used to welcome customers every night.

As the performance unfolds, the sign unfurls a series of emotions, a melody of unspoken sentiments, fragments and memories, the poetry of things left unsaid. It embodies a profound farewell to the father, the secrets of the taverna custodian, and a warm embrace of adulthood, amidst the existential riddles that accompany the passage of years.

Egy rögtönzött csónak, amely egy kékre festett hason ringatózik... Sandrina Lindgren svéd koreográfus és Ishmael Falke izraeli bábművész Láthatatlan vidékek című előadásukban saját testük és miniatűr alakok léptékeivel játszanak, megkérdőjelezve a migránsdráma médiában történő kezelését.

Flocks of people walking on the hill of a bent back. A family lost in a mountain of knees, hunted down by a helicopter the size of a matchbox. A makeshift boat, swayed on a blue painted belly... With “Invisible Lands”, Swedish choreographer Sandrina Lindgren and Israeli puppeteer Ishmael Falke play on the scale between their bodies and miniature figures to question the media treatment of the migrants’ drama.

Az 50. évfordulóját ünneplő színház születésnapi előadása utáni éjszakán a színészek az épületében maradnak a reggelre várva. Másnaposan hallucinálnak, elképzelik (vagy nem?) a közönséget, a zenét, a múlt szellemeit és... az indiánokat. A Történt egyszer Újvidéken sok tánc és dalolás, de tükörbe nézés is azért, hogy megtudjuk, kik vagyunk és miért csinálunk színházat.

În noaptea de după un spectacol care sărbătorea aniversarea a 50 de ani a unui teatru, actorii rămân în clădirea teatrului, în așteptarea dimineții. În praful mahmurelii, halucinează, imaginându-și (sau nu?) publicul, muzica, fantomele trecutului și… pe nativii americani. A fost odată la Novi Sad este despre dans și cântat, dar și despre oglindire și despre a ne da seama cine suntem și de ce facem teatru.

The night after a show celebrating the 50th anniversary of a theater, the actors stay in the theater building, waiting for the morning. In the hungover dust they hallucinate (or not?) the audience, the music, the ghosts of the past and the… indigenous Americans. “Once Upon a Time in Novi Sad” is a lot of dance and singing, but also looking at the mirror and seeing who we are and why we make theater.

Heinrich von Kleist művének szabad átdolgozása egy felvonásban. A trójai háború idején két alak, egy férfi és egy nő párbajra hívják egymást, majd szerelmesek lesznek. A két szereplő, Achilles, a legbátrabb görög hős, a férfiasság bikaerős szimbóluma, az izmos nyakú, fémmel vértezett vállú és karú harcos alakja, és az amazonok királynője, a békét szerető, de a gyötrelmet szomjazó, félvad, félkecses Pentesilea. A színpadi játék két hatalmas középkori dobon élőben játszott dinamikus akciók és ritmusok folyamatos ellenpontja között kanyarog, melyek az időt és a lovas galoppot, a támadást és a menekülést, az elhagyatottságot és a dühöt jelezve lendületesen követik egymást, mígnem minden átadja a helyét a nagy végső csendnek. A Pentesilea két gólyalábas színészre, két ember és állat közötti lényre írt egyfelvonásos előadás. Harcosok csatájának története, akik egymás halálát kívánják, mert túlságosan szeretik egymást.

Spectacol într-un singur act, adaptat la liber din opera lui Heinrich von Kleist.

În contextul războiului troian - două personaje, un bărbat și o femeie, se provoacă la un duel și se îndrăgostesc. Cele două personaje sunt Ahile, cel mai curajos dintre eroii greci, figura unei virilități taurine, războinic, cu un gât puternic, cu umerii și brațele ca oțelul, și Pentesilea, regina Amazonului, cea care iubește pacea dar care-i servește suferinței, deopotrivă furie și grație. Jocul pe scenă șerpuiește printr-un contrapunct continuu de acțiuni dinamice și ritmuri cântate live pe două tobe medievale imense, marcând timpul și galopul, atacurile și evadările, abandonul și furia care se succed impetuos, până ce se face loc unei tăceri grandioase și absolute.

„Pentesilea”este un spectacol într-un singur act pentru doi actori pe picioroange, două ființe aflate undeva între uman și animalic. Este povestea unei lupte între războinicii care ajung să își dorească moartea unul altuia pentru că se iubesc prea mult.

One-act play, freely adapted from Heinrich von Kleist’s work.

With the Trojan War in the background - two characters, a man and a woman, challenge each other to a duel and fall in love. The two characters are Achilles, the most valiant of the Greek heroes, a figure of taurine virility, warrior-like, with strong neck, shoulders and arms gleaming with metal, and Pentesilea, queen of the Amazons, she who loves peace but acts towards torment, half fury and half grace. The game on scene winds through a continuous counterpoint of dynamic actions and rhythms played live on two large medieval drums, marking the time and the galloping, the assaults and the escapes, the abandonment and the fury that follow one another impetuously, until they give way to the great final silence.

”Pentesilea” is a one-act play for two actors on stilts, two beings somewhere between human and animal. It is the story of a clash between warriors who come to desire each other’s death for loving each other too much.

BOSHI NAWA kötözés-mesternek tett ígéretéhez híven belső utazásra indul.

A 75 perces előadás a shibari művészet, a színészi játék és a performansz eszközeivel mutatja be Ismene néma nőből dühös forradalmárrá történő átalakulását. A középpontban a mindent uraló Egyenes vonal áll, amely a természet és embertársai feletti dominancia kifejezéseként mindent meghatároz.

Az Ismene táncol a kölni Kristóf Szabó F.A.C.E. Visual Performing Arts vegyes technikájú produkciója, melynek középpontjában négy előadóművész kötözés-rituáléja áll, amelyet a falakra, a padlóra és a színpadi elemekre (kocka épületekre) vetített XR projekciók kereteznek.

Pacea a fost restabilită - dar Teba, orașul natal al lui Ismene, a fost complet distrusă în război, iar tânăra soră a Antigonei, Prințesa Ismene, a încetat să mai vorbească. Legată la rugămintea ei de către maestrul bondage BOSHI NAWA, aceasta pornește într-o călătorie interioară.

Folosind mijloacele artei shibari, actoriei și spectacolului, spectacolul de 75 de minute expune transformarea lui Ismene dintr-o femeie mută într-o revoluționară furioasă. Accentul este pus pe Linia dreaptă cea care reglementează totul ca expresie a dominației umane asupra naturii și asupra semenilor.

„Ismene dansează” este o producție mixtă a Ansamblului Kristóf Szabó F.A.C.E. din Köln, cu un ritual de bondage în centru, care este interpretat de 4 performeri și încadrat de proiecții video XR pe toți pereții, podeaua și obiectele de design de pe scenă (clădiri din cuburi).

Peace has returned - but Thebes, Ismene’s hometown, has been completely destroyed in the war and Antigone’s young sister, Princess Ismene, has stopped speaking. Tied up by the bondage master BOSHI NAWA at her request, she embarks on an inner journey.

Using the means of shibari art, acting and performance, the 75-minute performance shows Ismene’s transformation from a mute woman to a furious revolutionary. The focus is on the Straight Line that regulates everything as an expression of human domination over nature and fellow human beings.

“Ismene Dancing” is a mixed media production by the Kristóf Szabó F.A.C.E. Ensemble from Cologne with a bondage ritual at the center, which is performed by 4 performers and framed by XR video projections on all walls, the floor and on stage design objects (buildings made of cubes).

Gustav Mahler zenéje ihlette a cie. toula limnaios társulat alkotását, amelyet nekünk, a föld gyermekeinek ajánlanak. Mélyen gyökerezünk egyéni és egyetemes emlékeinkben. A staubkinder (a föld gyermekei) egy abszurd és zavaros világba vezet be. Egy, a miénkhez hasonló világba a jelen kritikus aspektusaival, a ma összetettségével, a jövőnek nevezett tér bizonytalanságával. A por gyermekei támaszt keresnek – a talaj, amelyen állnak, idegen számukra. Egyszerre felkavaró és költői... „Paul Klee angelus novus című festménye egy angyalt ábrázol, aki úgy tűnik, mintha el akarna távolodni valamitől, amit lát [...] Valószínűleg szeretne elidőzni, felébreszteni a halottakat, és megjavítani azt, ami összetört. De a paradicsomból olyan erősen fúj a viharos szél, hogy az belekap a szárnyaiba, és az angyal nem tudja többé összezárni azokat. Această creație a cie. toula limnaios este inspirată din muzica lui Gustav Mahler și le este dedicată copiilor țărânei care suntem. Suntem profund înrădăcinați în amintirile noastre individuale și universale. În „staubkinder” (copiii țărânei), ne lăsăm duși într-o lume absurdă și confuză. O lume asemănătoare cu a noastră, cu aspectele critice și complexitatea prezentului și acest spațiu incert numit viitor. Copiii țărânei caută o priză – pământul pe care li se sprijină picioarele le este străin. Deranjant și poetic în același timp... „Există un tablou de Paul Klee numit „angelus novus”, care

înfățișează un înger ce arată ca și cum ar fi pe cale să se îndepărteze de ceva la care se uită. [...] Probabil că și-ar dori să zăbovească, să trezească morții și să pună cap la cap ceea ce a fost spulberat. Dar vântul suflă a furtună din paradis și se prinde în aripile lui, fiind atât de puternic încât îngerul nu le mai poate închide. Această furtună îl împinge inexorabil către viitor, căruia îi întoarce spatele, în timp ce mormanul de dărâmături dinaintea lui crește spre cer. Ceea ce numim progres este această furtună.”

This creation by cie. toula limnaios is inspired by the music of Gustav Mahler and is dedicated to the children of dust that we are. They are deeply embedded in our individual and universal memories. In »staubkinder« (children of dust) we let ourselves be carried away into an absurd and confusing world. A world similar to ours, with the critical aspects of the present, today’s complexity and this uncertain space called future. The children of dust are looking for a hold – the ground on which their feet stand is foreign to them. Disturbing and poetic at the same time… »There is a painting by Paul Klee called ›angelus novus‹. It depicts an angel who looks as if he is about to move away from something he is staring at. [...] He would probably like to linger, wake the dead and put together what has been shattered. But a storm is blowing from paradise, caught in his wings and so strong that the angel can no longer close them. This storm drives him inexorably towards the future, to which he turns his back, while the heap of ruins before him grows towards heaven. Az Istentelen ifjúság most mindennél világosabban tükrözi azt a valóságot, amelyben élünk, és erőteljes kritikája a mai fiatalok előtt álló kihívásoknak és társadalmi trendeknek. Ödön von Horváth regényének posztdramatikus kortárs értelmezése, amelyet Franco Bifo Berardi művei ihlettek, napjaink nihilizmussal, szociáldarwinizmussal, fehér identitással és szélsőséges digitalizációval konfrontálódó Európájára reflektál. Megrendítő képet fest a technológia útvesztőjében eltéved fiatalokról és egy olyan társadalmi rendszerről, amely válaszok helyett hamis értékekre fókuszálva buzdít vérontáshoz vezető lázadásra. A rendkívüli teljesítményt igényelő előadás valós rettegést ébreszt a nézőben annak a gondolatnak a sugallatával, mely szerint létezhet olyan fiatal, aki tömeggyilkosságot fontolgat a saját iskolájában. A darab a közösségi humanizmus eszméjének összeomlását, az önérvényesítés megszállottságát és az új radikalizálódást vizsgálja, elemezve a fasizmus eszméjének a nevelés, az oktatás és a társadalom által a fiatalokra gyakorolt hatását, egyúttal hangsúlyozva annak aktualitását a jelenlegi társadalmi és politikai kontextusban.

„Tineri fără Dumnezeu” acum, mai mult ca niciodată, reflectă realitatea în care trăim, fiind o critică puternică a tendințelor și provocărilor sociale cu care se confruntă tineretul contemporan. Această interpretare post-dramatică contemporană a romanului lui Ödön von Horváth, care este, la rândul său, inspirată din operele lui Franco Bifo Berardi, reflectă Europa de astăzi în fața nihilismului, darwinismului social, identității albe și a digitalizării extreme. Proiectul creează o imagine emoționantă a tineretului pierdut în tehnologie și într-un sistem social care nu dă răspunsuri, care se concentrează pe valori complet false și care mai degrabă incită la rebeliune și măcel. Un spectacol extrem de solicitant în ceea ce privește realizarea, care îi insuflă spectatorului o teamă autentică la gândul că poate exista un tânăr ce ia în calcul uciderea în masă, în școala unde studiază. Spectacolul examinează destrămarea ideii umaniste de comunitate, obsesia pentru autopromovare și noua radicalizare, abordând probleme legate de creștere, educație și influența socială a fascismului asupra tinerilor, subliniind în același timp relevanța contextului social și politic actual.

“Youth Without God” now more than ever, reflects the reality in which we live, serving as a powerful critique of the social trends and challenges placed before contemporary youth. This contemporary post-dramatic interpretation of Ödön von Horváth’s novel, which is, in turn, inspired by the works of Franco Bifo Berardi, reflects today’s Europe confronted with nihilism, social Darwinism, white Christian identity, and extreme digitalisation. The project creates a poignant image of youth lost in technology and a social system that gives no answers but by focusing on entirely false values rather incites rebellion that leads to slaughter.

An extremely demanding piece in terms of performance, it necessarily instils the viewer with genuine dread at the thought that there is a young person out there who may contemplate mass killing in their school. The play examines the breakdown of the humanist idea of community, the obsession with self-promotion, and new radicalisation by addressing the issues of upbringing, education, and the social influence of fascism on young people, underscoring at the same time the relevance of the current social and political context.

Az It’s a MATCH – or will be – maybe – a kortárs fiatal felnőttek talán legnagyobb dilemmájára reflektál. A kísérlet a nézők részvételével keresi az utat a magány, az intimitás és a kapcsolatfüggőség ambivalens összefüggései között. A függők személyes megéléseiből és a színészek élményeiből inspirálódva a jelenlévők megélhetik az online társkeresésbe kódolt kapcsolódni vágyódás és elidegenedés természetét. A performansz az online ismerkedés ellenpontjaként lehetőséget teremt személyes találkozások létrejöttére. Az intimitás találkozik a nyilvánossal, az elképzelt a valóssal, néző a színésszel, színész a nézővel, néző a nézővel.

Cu participarea spectatorilor, experimentul caută să găsească o modalitate de a răzbi prin relația ambivalentă dintre singurătate, intimitate și dependență relațională. Inspirați din experiența trăită a dependenților și actorilor, participanții se vor confrunta cu natura dorinței de conectare și alienare criptată în dating-ul online. Ca un contrapunct al trecerii în online a întâlnirilor amoroase, spectacolul crează oportunități de întâlnire față în față. Intimitatea întâlnește publicul, imaginația întâlnește realul, spectatorul îl întâlnește pe actor, actorul pe spectator, spectatorul pe spectator.

Do you want it to end? “It’s a MATCH - or will be - maybe -” reflects on perhaps the biggest dilemma facing young adults today. With the participation of the viewers, the experiment seeks to find a way through the ambivalent relationships between loneliness, intimacy and relationship dependency. Inspired by the lived experience of addicts and the performers, attendees will encounter the nature of the desire to connect and alienation encoded in online dating. As a counterpoint to online dating, the performance creates opportunities for face-to-face encounters. Intimacy meets the public, the imagined meets the real, spectator meets actor, actor meets spectator, spectator meets spectator.

A The Story of Lost Stories (Az elveszett történetek története) című előadás alapötlete a kortárs egyén transzgenerációs öröksége személyes történeteinek a világhoz és a benne élő emberekhez való viszonyára gyakorolt hatása szempontjából: „Azért mesélünk történeteket a múltból, hogy megértsünk valamit a közös jelenünkből”. A koreográfus irányításával a hat táncos különböző élményeket, élet történeteket vázol fel egyéni stílusában, saját nyelvi és mozgás-, valamint kifejezési eszköztárát használva.

Az előadást az Unfold Motion az Onboard - Timișoara 2023 program részeként alkotta meg, amelyet a Temesvári Városháza a Projektközpont révén társfinanszírozott.

Conceptul central al spectacolului „The Story of Lost Stories” este moștenirea transgenerațională a individului contemporan din prisma influenței pe care o au istoriile personale ale acestuia asupra relației lui cu lumea și persoanele din jur: „Spunem povești din trecut ca să întelegem ceva din prezentul nostru comun”. Sub coordonarea coregrafei, cei 6 dansatori conturează diferite povești experiențiale, utilizând cuvântul și limbajele de mișcare și expresie proprii.

The central concept of the performance ”The Story of Lost Stories” is the transgenerational inheritance of the contemporary individual as related to the influence personal stories have on their relation to the world and people around: ”We tell stories from our past in order to understand something in our common present”. Coordinated by the choreographer, the 6 dancers profile various experiential stories, using their own words and movement and expression languages.

A 2024 júniusában a Montpellier Danse Fesztiválon bemutatásra kerülő Telihold című előadás, melynek főpróbáját a TESZT-en láthatja a közönség, hetet vonultat fel az Omma nyolc táncosából, akik tovább mélyítik és bővítik az eredeti darabban bemutatott témákat, Josef Nadj pedig csatlakozik hozzájuk a színpadon. A címben szereplő hold a kozmoszt szimbolizálja, az univerzum keletkezését, amely megelőzi az élet kialakulását. A hold 28 napos ciklusa és négy fázisa ritmikus struktúrát kínál a produkciónak. Nadj az amerikai fekete jazz eredetét és evolúcióját járja körül, megismertetve a táncosokat ezzel az afrikai kultúrában gyökerező műfajjal. Közösen elemzik a zenei formát és éthoszt, hogy ennek megfelelően fejlesszék ki a mozdulatokat. A Telihold a mozgalom olyan jeles képviselői előtt tiszteleg, mint Charles Mingus, Cecil Taylor, Anthony Braxton és az Art Ensemble of Chicago. A produkcióban bábjáték is szerepel, ez Nadj munkásságának visszatérő motívuma, amely az élő és élettelen közötti kölcsönhatást, a teremtés tökéletlenségét, valamint az alkotó és a teremtés közötti örök küzdelmet jeleníti meg.

„Lună plină”, în avanpremieră la TESZT și cu premiera la Festivalul de Dans de la Montpellier în iunie 2024, reunește șapte dintre cei opt dansatori „Omma”pentru a explora și extinde mai departe temele introduse în piesa originală, cu Josef Nadj alăturându-li-se pe scenă. Luna din titlu simbolizează cosmosul, geneza universului care precede apariției vieții. Îi poate oferi producției o structură ritmică, reluându-și ciclul de 28 de zile și patru faze. Nadj explorează rădăcinile și evoluția jazz-ului afroamerican, prezentându-le dansatorilor acest gen înrădăcinat în cultura africană. Împreună, analizează formele și etosul muzicii pentru a dezvolta mișcări corespunzătoare.

„Lună plină” aduce un omagiu reprezentanților eminenți ai mișcării precum Charles Mingus, Cecil Taylor, Anthony Braxton și Art Ensemble of Chicago.

Producția încorporează marionetele, un motiv recurent în opera lui Nadj, reprezentând interacțiunea dintre animat și neînsuflețit, natura imperfectă a creației și lupta eternă dintre creator și creație.

“Full Moon”, with its preview at TESZT, and premiering at the Montpellier Danse Festival in June 2024, brings together seven of “Omma” eight dancers to further explore and expand upon the themes introduced in the original piece, with Josef Nadj joining them onstage.

The moon in the title symbolizes the cosmos, the genesis of the universe preceding life’s emergence. It could offer the production a rhythmic structure, echoing its 28-day cycle and four phases. Nadj delves into the roots and evolution of black American jazz, introducing dancers to this genre rooted in African culture. Together, they analyze the music’s forms and ethos to develop corresponding movements.

“Full Moon” pays homage to eminent representatives of the movement like Charles Mingus, Cecil Taylor, Anthony Braxton and the Art Ensemble of Chicago. The production incorporates puppetry, a recurring motif in Nadj’s work, representing the interplay between the animate and inanimate, the imperfect nature of creation, and the eternal struggle between creator and creation.

Erdélyi Mihály 1942-ben írt műve a háborús propaganda “reklámanyaga” volt. A darabot Bezerédi Zoltán rendezésében a Horvai István és Kapás Dezső osztálya mutatta be újra 1991-ben.

Scrisă în 1942, opera lui Mihály Erdélyi a reprezentat „materialul publicitar” al propagandei de război. Spectacolul s-a jucat simultan în trei locuri diferite: Teatrul Erzsébetváros, Teatrul Óbuda și Teatrul Ida Turay, având în distribuție actori renumiți ca Árpád Latabár și Kálmán Latabár. A fost realizată chiar și o continuare, „Noi toți trebuie să plecăm”, dar care nu mai este disponibilă.

Spectacolul a fost pus în scenă de Bezerédi Zoltán și a fost jucat din nou în 1991 de clasa lui Horvai István și Kapás Dezső.

Written in 1942, Mihály Erdélyi’s work was the “publicity material” of wartime propaganda. It was performed in three places at the same time: the Erzsébetváros Theatre, the Óbuda Theatre and the Ida Turay Theatre, with renowned actors such as Árpád Latabár and Kálmán Latabár. There was also a sequel, All of Us Must Go, but it is no longer available. The play was staged by Zoltán Bezerédi and was performed again in 1991 by the class of Horvai István and Kapás Dezső.

Lenni vagy nem lenni? – Micsoda kérdés! – harsogja a kicsavart hamleti létkérdést Akárki, egyike a Borbély Szilárd által elképzelt szereplőknek. A kérdést több jelenet követi, amelyekben a fogyasztói társadalom tipikus, elsősorban (kül)városi alakjai is feltűnnek az élet színpadán, hogy ugyanilyen váratlanul el is merüljenek a feledés színházi süllyesztőjében. Arcukon Akárkimaszkkal. Az amoralitásként aposztrofált színdarabban a középkori moralitás allegorikus figurái színházi szerepekké változnak. S mint ilyenek, dramaturgiai funkcióvá redukálódnak – a szerző meghatározása szerint: „a jelenetekben három aktív cselekvő vesz részt: Beszélő, Ellenlábas, illetve Rezonőr”. Minden esetben azt tükrözik, ahogyan funkcióvá, fogyasztóvá, konzumlényekké redukálódnak e posztmodern társadalom tagjai. A történeteket a halál motívuma köti egymáshoz. Borbély egy színházi előadás keretein belül képzeli el a „testet öltött” Halált, azaz a színház segítségével testet ad a Halálnak, és hogy a megtestesülés gesztusának hangsúlyt adjon, állandóvá teszi annak színpadi jelenlétét. A bizarr helyzet következtében folyamatosan érzékelhető az elszámolás kényszere. A szélsőséges hangulatú jelenetekben rendre visszatér a szembesülés, az élet átértékelésének motívuma.

A fi sau a nu fi? Ce intrebare! – Întrebarea existențială a lui Hamlet este reluată într-un mod întortocheat de Orișicine, unul dintre personajele imaginate de Szilárd Borbély. Întrebarea este urmată de câteva scene în care figuri obișnuite, în primul rând (sub)urbane ale societății de consum apar pe scena vieții, și apoi, la fel de neașteptat, se afundă în dolina teatrală a uitării ascunzându-și fața în spatele măștii. Masca orișicui. Genul piesei este „amoralitatea”: figurile alegorice ale moralității medievale sunt transformate în roluri teatrale. Și, ca atare, ele sunt reduse la o funcție dramaturgică - așa cum o definește autorul: „fiecare scenă implică trei actori activi: Vorbitorul, Antagonistul și Raisonneurul. În fiecare caz, ei reflectă reducerea la funcționalitate, la consumerism, la statutul de ființe de consum, a membrilor acestei societăți postmoderne.

Poveștile sunt legate de motivul morții. Borbély își imaginează Moartea „întruchipată” în cadrul unei reprezentații teatrale, adică folosește teatrul pentru a-i oferi Morții un corp, iar pentru a sublinia gestul de întruchipare, îi face prezența permanentă pe scenă.

To be or not to be? What a question! – Hamlet’ question of existence is echoed in a twisted way by Anybody, one of the characters of Szilárd Borbély’s play. The question is followed by a few scenes in which typical, primarily (sub)urban figures of consumer society appear on the stage of life, and then just as unexpectedly sink into the theatrical sinkhole of oblivion with a mask on their faces. The mask of Anybody.

The genre of the play is “amorality”: allegorical figures of medieval morality are transformed into theatrical roles. And as such, they are reduced to a dramaturgical function - as the author defines it: ‘every scene involves three active actors: the Speaker, the Antagonist and the Raisonneur. In each case, they reflect the reduction to function, to consumerism, to consumer beings, of the members of this postmodern society.

The stories are linked by the motif of death. Borbély imagines Death ‘embodied’ within the framework of a theatrical performance, i.e. he uses theatre to give Death a body, and to emphasise the gesture of embodiment, he makes its presence on stage permanent.

A Spread the love egy “sétálós előadás”, amely az érzékszerveinkre hatva és azokra hagyatkozva teszi fel a kérdést: Mi a Szeretet? A sajt a pirítóson, a cseresznye a tortán, a pink és pihe-puha, meleg és borzongató érzés ott belül!

A szeretetet a “szeretetgépeink” terjesztik, az előadók, akik egyetlen szív két felét alkotják, és akik mind az öt érzékszervüket felhasználva kérdeznek és javasolnak válaszokat.

Minden résztvevő egyedi interakciót folytat valamelyik előadóval, és mivel a lehetőségek és a kombinációk száma szinte végtelen, nincs két néző, akinek azonos élménye lenne. Távolról is látványos és szórakoztató – hiszen a szemlélődők számára izgalmas a látott interakció, a közönség élményét pedig gyakran a résztvevők is továbbviszik, amikor megosztják egymással, milyen hangot/illatot/érintést tapasztaltak.

MULTISZENZOROS ÉLMÉNY MINDEN KOROSZTÁLY SZÁMÁRA

„Iubire de dat” este un spectacol mobil care explorează răspunsurile senzoriale la întrebarea: Ce este dragostea? Este brânza de pe o pâine prăjită, cireașa de pe tort, rozul și pufosul și senzația caldă de fluturi în stomac!

Actorii noștri, două jumătăți ale aceleiași inimi, răspândesc iubirea, folosindu-se de toate cele cinci simțuri, solicitând și propunând răspunsuri la întrebarea noastră.

Fiecare participant are parte de o interacțiune unică cu unul dintre artiști și, deoarece numărul de combinații este atât de mare, nu există doi membri ai publicului care ar avea exact aceeași experiență. Este plăcut și spectaculos de privit și de la distanță – observatorii sunt intrigați de interacțiunea pe care o văd, iar experiența publicului este adesea reiterată de participanți, care își împărtășesc experiențele auditive/olfactive/senzoriale.

O EXPERIENȚĂ MULTISENZORIALĂ PENTRU TOATE VÂRSTELE.

“Spread the love” is a walkabout piece, exploring sensory responses to the question: What is Love? It is the cheese on the toast, the cherry on the cake, the pink and fluffy and the warm fuzzy feeling inside! The love is spread by our ‘love machines’, performers who are the two-halves of a single heart and they use all five senses to ask and propose answers to our question

Each participant has a unique interaction with one of the performers, and as the number of combinations is so vast no two audience members can possibly have the same experience. It is enjoyable and spectacular to watch from a distance as well – observers are intrigued by the interaction they can see, and the audience experience is often carried on by the participants as they share with each other what sound/smell/touch they had.

Egy különös, aktualitásokkal és allegóriákkal átszőtt drámai Odüsszeia kegyetlen thrillerré alakul. A híres nevű avatárok, ő/a férfi - Marko Polo, illetve ő/a nő - Kublai Khan szellemi játéka és izgalmas csevegése a „jogos bűnözés” veszélyes cselekményévé változik. Azonban a párbaj nem tűnik valódinak, inkább „az elvárt eredmények torz elképzeléseinek sokaságát” mutatja. A Mindpolis világa alapjaiban kérdőjelezi meg a teremtés és a pusztítás, a fény és a sötétség, valamint az erosz és a thanatosz közötti szakadék emberi paradoxonát. Végső soron pedig elvezet bennünket a kérdéshez: vajon utolsó védelmi vonalként csak a képzelet képes bennünket megvédeni egy olyan valóságtól, amelyet képtelenség elfogadni? Vajon csak a semmi előtt ébredünk rá lényünk emberi kételyeire és gyengeségeire, hajlamaira és izgalmára? Amikor már nincs idő... és egyetlen érintéssel véget vethetünk a fájdalomnak, akár egy mobilalkalmazásban.

O stranie Odisee dramatică, impregnată de actualități și alegorii, se transformă într-un thriller feroce. Jocul mental și conversația incitantă a avatarurilor cu nume celebre, el - Marco Polo și ea - Kubilai Khan, se transformă într-un complot periculos de „crimă justificată”. Cu toate acestea, duelul poate să nu fie real, ci „doar idei distorsionate despre rezultatele dorite”. Egy „magánygyűjtemény”, amely, akár egy homorú lencse, egy akut globális jelenséget tár fel életfoszlányokon, személyes történetek töredékein keresztül.

A Kocsárdi Levente rendező által vezetett Arte-Factum Színházi kutatási és önvizsgálati laboratóriumban létrehozott előadást a közvetlen valóság, megtörtént esetek, statisztikai adatok, továbbá városunk történetei és Ken Kesey, Franz Kafka, Michel Houellebecq, Joseph Heller írók, valamint Rainer Werner Fassbinder filmrendező művei ihlették.

„A magány ma súlyos kollektív betegség, amely ma emberek millióinak halálához vezet. A magány-szindrómával együtt jár egy lényeges érzés, a közösséghez tartozás érzésének elvesztése. A szakértők szerint a magány gátolja az agy empátiára való képességét. Hogyan hozzuk közelebb egymáshoz az embereket a szétziláltság világában? Hogyan halljuk meg a magány fojtogató csendjét a kereskedelmi ajánlatok pokoli zajában? Hogyan indítsuk újra a Másikkal törődés reflexét? A monológok, amelyekből megalkottuk a magány e kirakósát, egyszerre tükrözik a saját intimitásunkat, a saját városunkat és a jelenség globális képét. A magány monológjai lényegében egy urbánus szigeten élő Robinson Crusoe-disztópiát alkotnak.” (Kocsárdi Levente, rendező)

Creat în Laboratorul de cercetare și introspecție teatrală Arte-Factum condus de Levente Kocsárdi, spectacolul s-a inspirat deopotrivă din realitatea imediată, din cazuri reale, date statistice, din poveștile orașului și din universul operelor scriitorilor Ken Kesey, Franz Kafka, Michel Houellebecq, Joseph Heller și al cineastului Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

„Singurătatea este azi o gravă maladie colectivă care duce la moartea a milioane de oameni anual. Sindromul solitudinii induce sentimentul că ai pierdut ceva esential: apartenența la comunitate. Singurătatea, susțin experții, inhibă capacitatea creierului de a simți empatie. Cum să-i aducem pe oameni împreună într-o lume a disipării? În zgomotul infernal al ofertelor comerciale, cum să auzi tăcerea sufocantă a solitudinii? Cum repornim reflexul să ne pese de Celălalt? Monoloagele din care am creat acest puzzle al solitudinii reflectă deopotrivă intimitatea noastră, orașul nostru și tabloul global al fenomenului. Monoloagele solitudinii compun, în fond, o distopie a unui Robinson Crusoe pe o insulă urbană”- Levente Kocsárdi, regizor.

A “collection of solitudes” that, like a concave lens, exposes, through beams of life, an acute global phenomenon. Created in the Arte-Factum Theatrical Research and Introspection Laboratory led by Levente Kocsárdi, the performance was equally inspired by immediate reality, by real cases, statistical data, from the stories of the city and from the universe of writers like Ken Kesey, Franz Kafka, Michel Houellebecq, Joseph Heller and the filmmaker Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

The syndrome of loneliness comes with the feeling that you have lost something essential: belonging to the community. Loneliness, experts say, inhibits the brain’s ability to feel empathy. How to bring people together in a world of dissipation? In the infernal noise of commercial offers, how to hear the suffocating silence of solitude? How do we restart the reflex to care about the Other? The monologues which created this puzzle of loneliness reflect both our privacy, our city, and the global image of the phenomenon. The monologues of solitude compose, in essence, a dystopia of a Robinson Crusoe on an urban island.” (Levente Kocsárdi, director)

A két hős ismét életük csatája elé néz. Összefogtak, és félretették a köztük lévő viszályt. Már nem a közönségért harcolnak. Nem is az ellen. Együtt harcolnak a közönséggel: a mondanivalóért, a jelentésért és az időért.

The two heroes are once again facing the battle of their lives. They joined forces and put aside the fights between them. They are no longer fighting for an audience. Or against it. They fight together with the audience: for content, for meaning and for time.

A megnyitóra a házigazda színház Pericles című előadásának kezdése előtt kerül sor, ez az előadás jelenti a művész ihletforrását.

Vernisajul va avea loc înainte de spectacolul teatrului gazdă, „Pericles”, sursă de inspirație pentru artistul plastic.

„Manapság nagyon divatos interdiszciplinaris alkotónak lenni. Olyan személyekről van szó, akik képesek megteremteni a különböző területek és esztétikák metamorfózisát, egységes egésszé kovácsolni ezeket. Nem a különböző művészi megnyilvánulások illusztrálása a nehéz, sokkal inkább az, hogy azok a művészi megnyilvánulások tartalommal bírjanak. Mátyás Zsolt színművésznek – aki a világjárvány idején a rajzolásban találta meg a „mentőövet” – ez sikerült. Ha a színészi tapasztalata önmagáért beszél, akkor azt mondhatom, hogy rajzai a színházi élmény izgalmával kiegészülve válnak kerek egésszé. A próbák során a szövegkönyv lapjaira készített, azok betűit költői módon beépítő rajzok kifejezően illusztrálják az egyes felvonások érzelmi töltetét, hangulatát, a színházi pillanatok érzésvilágát. Az élénk színek, az erős vonalak, az absztrakció arra a transzszerű állapotra enged következtetni, amelyet egy-egy színmű átélése idéz elő Zsoltban.Ugyanez a transzcendens alkotói energia vezérli őt abban, hogy az érzelmeket mind fizikai, mind grafikai értelemben egyforma erővel és őszinteséggel tudja kifejezni. „Astăzi este foarte la modă să fii interdisciplinar. Se caută acele persoane care au abilitatea de a combina, de a metamorfoza domenii și estetici diferite într-un tot unitar. Partea grea nu e de a ilustra manifestări artistice diferite, partea grea e ca acele manifestări artistice să aibă substanță. O persoană care reușește această ispravă este Mátyás Zsolt, actor care și-a găsit „salvarea” în timpul pandemiei prin desen. Dacă experiența în actorie vorbește de la sine, despre lucrări pot spune că se completează cu emoția jocului teatral într-un tot unitar. Realizate în timpul repetițiilor pe paginile scenariului încorporând într-un mod poetic și textul acestora, desenele lui ilustrează cu multă expresivitate emoțiile și trăirile fiecărui act, trăirile fiecărui moment din mijlocul exprimării teatrale. Culorile vii, liniile puternice, abstractizarea, toate fac să simți starea de transă care îi este indusă lui Zsolt de trăirea unei piese de teatru.Aceeași energie creatoare transcedentală îl ghidează spre a reuși să exprime emoția atât fizic, cât și grafic cu la fel de multă putere și sinceritate. Mit hallunk ezen a koncerten? Közel 450 éves veretes Shakespeare-szövegeket kortárs zenei bravúrok kíséretében a WH formációtól, amelyet 2006-ban hozott létre a Sena, Márkos Albert, Gryllus Samu és G. Szabó Hunor alkotta szupergrup, és amely ezen az estén újabb vendégekkel egészül ki, hogy együtt próbálják megidézni a Shakespeare-korabeli kocsmák zenei hangulatát és a lehetséges jövőbeli Shakespeare-értelmezéseket. A kor hangulatának megidézéséhez egy nagyon fiatal, a reneszánsz és barokk zenében viszont igen jártas zenészt: Eva Leonie Fegers Bécsben élő német furulyaművészt hívták segítségül. De vendége lesz az estnek Bolcsó Bálint zenész-zeneszerző, elektronikus zenei tudós is, aki azt hivatott bemutatni, milyen lesz a jövő Shakespeare ihlette zenéje, vagyis, hogy milyen lesz a világ a következő 400 évben, ha még lesz. Beugróként pedig Balázs Attila, a temesvári Csiky Gergely Állami Magyar Színház és a TESZT igazgatója, magyar nyelven ad elő friss és korábbi fordítású Shakespeare-szövegeket.

Hunor Szabó în anul 2006. Acestora li se vor alătura în această seară și alți invitați, iar împreună vor încerca să evoce atmosfera muzicală a pub-urilor din acele vremuri, dar și posibilele interpretări viitoare ale lui Shakespeare. Pentru a contribui la evocarea atmosferei acelei epoci, a fost cooptată o foarte tânără muziciană, Eva Leonie Fegers, o flautistă germană care trăiește la Viena, cu competențe extraordinare în muzica renascentistă și barocă. La concert va fi prezent și Bálint Bolcsó, muzician compozitor cu expertiză în domeniul muzicii electronice, care va prezenta o viziune pentru viitor a muzicii inspirate din Shakespeare și cum va arăta lumea în următorii 400 de ani, dacă va fi cazul. Iar Attila Balázs, directorul Teatrului Maghiar de Stat Csiky Gergely și al Festivalului TESZT din Timișoara îl va acompania, recitându-l pe Shakespeare în limba maghiară, în traduceri prezente și trecute.

What are we to hear at this concert? Almost 450 year-old Shakespearean texts accompanied by audacious contemporary music from the WH band, a real super group, consisting of Sena, Albert Márkos, Samu Gryllusand G. Szabó, established in 2006. Other guests will also join in, in a common attempt to evoke the musical atmosphere of the taverns of the time, and possible future interpretations of Shakespeare. To better recall the atmosphere of the era, young Eva Leonie Fegers, a German flutist living in Vienna, extraordinarily versatile in Renaissance and Baroque music, will also chip in. The concert features Bálint Bolcsó, a musician-composer with expertise in electronic music, who will present a vision for the future of music inspired by Shakespeare and what the world will look like in the following 400 years, if there will be one. And Attila Balázs, director of the Csiky Gergely Hungarian State Theater and the TESZT Festival in Timisoara will accompany him, reciting Shakespeare in Hungarian, in current and past translations.
