Our membership represents private and public organizations and independent consultants specializing in one or more areas of human resource management and development.
The Human Resource Professionals of Antigua and Barbuda (HRPAB) is a registered nonprofit professional association dedicated to the advancement of the HR profession for national development. We began assembling informally in 2009, and the association was legally registered and officially launched in January 2011. HRPAB’s goals are to promote best practices, develop professionals and advocate human resources as our country’s most valuable development asset. We contribute to the national discussion through timely articles in the local print media, and we have been continually active, particularly in this Pandemic era, sharing best practice on several labour-related matters.

HRPAB’s current affiliations include the Caribbean Society for Human Resource Professionals. CSHRP is not even two years old yet, but we have already seen the benefits of being part of a regional grouping of like-minded leaders. We have been exposed to many learning and sharing opportunities, and our members look forward to the times of growth and networking, whether in a ‘War Room’ session or at a Webinar. We at HRPAB embrace CSHRP’s core values of Leadership, Opportunity, Unity and Diversity fully, understanding that even though there are global HR challenges, the intricacies of our Caribbean experience make this organization integral to our sustainability as a region. We look forward to these two days of education, networking, and professional development at CSHRP LOUD 21 and congratulate the organizers on taking this bold step to make this Virtual Conference a reality. #loudandproud
