









California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) is a donation-dependent public charter school that provides a comprehensive academic and arts conservatory program to students in grades 6-12. Established in 2017, CSArts-SGV has already been recognized as the #4 Best High School for the Arts in America and the #1 Best Charter High School in California by Niche. In just seven short years, the school has impacted thousands of future artists, creative thinkers, leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

We cannot do what we do at CSArts-SGV without the support of the generous families, foundations, and corporations who invest in the school. The CSArts-SGV experience has impacted thousands of students – equipping generations of artist-scholars for higher education and the 21st century workforce. The impact of an arts education cannot be overstated, as evidenced by the outstanding accomplishments of countless CSArts-SGV students and alumni in both academic and artistic fields; however, the CSArts-SGV impact stretches far beyond our talented student artists and into the Duarte and greater Southern California communities.
Since 2017, CSArts-SGV has:
• Provided free arts activities to more than 10,000 individuals in Duarte and the greater San Gabriel Valley area through the Gluck Community Service Arts Fellowship Program
• Served approximately 2,500 Duarte Unified School District (DUSD) K-8 students annually by offering no-cost dance education classes
• Provided no-cost, after-school music education classes to more than 300 DUSD K-6 students, in partnership with the Dragon Kim Foundation
• Provided 486 Duarte-resident students with an arts and academic education
• Served over 500 students through CSArts Academy, which offers extracurricular arts classes to children in the community each summer
• Participated in notable events within the Duarte community, including the Holiday Tree Lighting Festival, Farmer’s Market, Independence Day Celebration, Route 66 Parade, and many others
Each year, CSArts-SGV:
Provides at least $150,000 in financial scholarships to students in need, ensuring they have access to the complete CSArts-SGV experience
Brings more than 200 middle school students into DUSD through inter-district transfers
Supports more than 80 student-run community service and affinity clubs
Welcomes approximately 350 students who commute through the Metro Gold Line
Serves as a member of the Duarte Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Duarte, and Kiwanis International Encourages students and their families from more than 100 cities across four counties to dine and shop locally in the Duarte community
• Creates local jobs, residential opportunities, and business patronage from the school’s more than 250 employees
• Produces a free Fall Festival for CSArts-SGV families and the local community

Current CSArts-SGV Families: Please note that corporate donations to the CSArts-SGV Foundation cannot be allocated toward your child’s Conservatory Funding Agreement (CFA). All CSArts-SGV families are encouraged to pledge the requested amount toward their child’s CFA prior to supporting other initiatives.
